Amongst other modifications, I am gettting a 3” Toytec lift, control arms, and 295/70r18 tires. I’m afraid of the “missing leg day” look. Has anyone built similar and do you have pics? Thanks!

@TwistedTad are those AT3’s? How do you like them? I’m going to get a winter tire in addition to the KM3’s as I’ve heard they don’t perform in snow/rain. I’m considering AT3 or Wide Peak.

I was playing on a bank today to see how the suspension looked. I’m sure if I took the sway bar off, I could get more flex. The driver side spring was pulled while the passenger side was compressed. I don’t do any hard off roading, so it’ll work for me. Also, the RC uca looked like they where working good too.5A134217-E1D9-4462-BB15-EBE2FA4E2261.jpg0EDAAC4C-BDEA-4E29-BA54-866DA0F725F9.jpg1A40214F-E961-4331-8F75-8870B13F1B3D.jpg

I have the Toyo AT 2’s @silversurfertundra . They are great on road and good off-road. They are decent in the rain and snow.

Toytec coilovers with coachbuilder shims in front and toytec in back with 3 inch coachbuilder shackles plus add a leaf for stance. 295/70/18 Cooper ST Maxx. Not wild about those tires too loud but they have otherwise been good.

How do you like that RC kit? How is the ride? How are the shocks holding up?

I like not having the spacer on top and having what I call a “full working shock”. I had the shocks on for maybe 1/2 a year. Rear shocks are bilstein 5100’s. I haven’t done any real off roading other than playing on a rock or bank to see how it flex and check for clearance issues. They ride nice on blacktop and forest dirt roads. And holding up so far. The RC come with a 3 year warranty. I would like to do some off roading somewhere a few times this summer. Some of the other brands are WAY out of my price range is why I went with RC.

Here is the final product! I am incredibly happy with the fitment. Very easy ride. I ended up going with Cooper STT Pros as the KM3 ended up being unavailable. So far I am happy with the tires as well. Let me know what you think!

mind you.. this is a Platinum. I swapped out the grill for the pro grill, chrome rearview mirrors for black, and chrome door handles for black.

    Level/lift- 3” Toytec
    Control Arms- SAS
    Tires- Cooper STT PRO 295/70r18
    Wheels- “Titanium” Method 316
    Rocksliders/steps- NFab

Looks nice. How do you like N-Fab side steps? Are the step part located correctly on the bar? I wanta change my factory pontoon looking side steps for something more sleek looking giving it a higher appearance.

@Shanet421 Here are a few pics of the sliders. I like them a lot because the steps are removable and the sliders alone are very low profile. I wouldn’t have gotten the steps but wifey and kids appreciate them ;)

@2014 Black tundra Thats where I wanted the steps located. You can’t move them from that position but you can flip the sliders to opposite sides to position the steps more under the door handle maybe?… maybe if you’re left handed that would be a comfortable positioning? Lol

With the door open does just the rail offer any type of stepping platform. From the photos they look very tucked

No body mount chop needed. I did have to heat up the front plastic finder liner and mold them a bit due to a slight rub in the front. My rims are at a +25 offset. @Magneticsr5
