Bilstein 5100 Ultimate Kit? Unless if you bought it pre-assembled through a vendor.

The 5100s are only adjustable via clip.

Then took this picture today where it looks pretty level. Not sure but I believe I had a full tank in the first post and this one today is just under half. Does have BDS 3" suspension lift, Fox shocks...

Could have been exacerbated by an uneven driveway or something. That pic in the parking lot is probably as level as you are going to get outside of a shop. It is definitely less noticeable in that pic. Did you have that lean while you had the stock suspension too?

Its weird, I think I have the only Tundra that has a slight lean to the passenger side right now. I have stock front end with 5160 in the back and RAS, I could adjust the ras on the passenger side 1/8" up to level it but I am waiting to do the front coilovers this weekend to see if it has any effect on the back.

I am thinking maybe something uneven at the end of the driveway from that initial picture. Going to check again at gas station right after I fill up next.
Yours leans to passenger side? Hadn't heard that one yet.

It is very slight, like 1/8" or less. The back used to be dead nuts until i did some upgrades, I think I just didnt tighten the RAS on that side as much. The front used to be dead nuts on both sides as well until I installed the aftermarket bumper and winch and now its very slightly lower on the passenger front. Again the difference is so small it could very well be from the ground. I will get some true level ground measurements this weekend at the alignment shop.

Yeah, Toyota decided that a battery, gas tank and driver would all be best placed on one side of the truck. Pretty much affects Toyota trucks across the board, 4Runners as well.

I really wonder about this. Do they think its for convenience or safety or does it have to do with the side of the road people drive on??? Mysteries.....

Yeah, with the full 38ga tank, driver and battery the driver side can easily carry 400+ pounds more than the passenger side.

I have always biased my heavy weighing stuff on the passenger side for that reason. Never felt a weight difference in turns or anything though but I guess I have never known any different with this truck lol.

I was thinking of adding a full size spare and matching rim with a removable mount in the bed, offset to the right to counteract the lean. Figure I'd only put it in there for long trips where I won't be anywhere near home. Weird thing is, I only notice the lean if the fuel tank is right at "full." If I'm even near 3/4 of a tank, it's not noticeable at all.

Somebody told me a long time ago that the lean is built-in to the design of some vehicles because the majority of interstates and roads are crowned for drainage, so this ensures that the vehicle is actually sitting level as it goes down the road. Makes sense from an engineering perspective, anyway.

Hey there want to reopen this thread, made an account for this actual top C and turns out this forum is such a gem…I’ve read through the posts and it seems after a lift a prominent lean has happened….

I have obtained a well loved used 2010 tundra 5.7 crew max.. now I’m wanting to start putting some love into it

there is almost an 1” and a half difference and hard left lean. I suspect a lift has been put into it as it seems higher.. can someone work with me to ensure it’s “the Toyota lean” or a spring or suspension issue

Have a 2" front spacer lift and a 2" block. RAS system installed on white (lowest) setting.
    Current measurements:

    DF 39 3/4"
    DR 41 3/4"
    PF 40 1/8"
    PR 42 1/16"

It's noticeable, I want to live with it, but my OCD will not allow me to. Thinking of adjusting the RAS on driver's side a little more aggressively and hoping it pulls it up.

How much drivers side lean is normal? I am about 1.5 inch lower on Drivers side. Passenger is 39.25 and Drivers is 37.75.

I load my battery, fridge and toolbox on the passenger side & sit pretty level with 650lb 6112’s on the same bottom notch. No lift, but minimal preload.

sorry, i read ‘driver’ as ‘deaver’ and thought you mightta mounted to tall leaf on the wrong side. I’ve taken apart 5 trucks, and swapping leaves side x side would definately move the taller leaves to the driver side. But i havent done mine yet.
