    I can be about 10' away and the lock/unlock doesn't work. This happens on both of my fobs with brand new batteries. Anyone else having this issue?

    Nothing here. Does it occur only at 10' away from multiple locations? Just to eliminate the possibility of it being so sort of electrical interference.

    I have not had this issue. And this is the first time I have heard of it. There has to be a solution.

    Yes multiple locations. It's consistently bad and interment. The thing is is that it happens with both key fobs so I don't believe it's the key fobs that are the issue.

    Mine works from down the block.

    I had the same issue with an old car I had and it was the batteries in the remote. Have you tried fresh batteries?

    I sure have. I put fresh batteries in both fobs. Exact same range on both even with new batteries.

    Mine works from atleast 50' away. Maybe you bought bad batteries? Only explanation if it's both fobs.

    The hokey solution is to put the key fob to the underside of you chin when using it. Effectively turns your body into an antenna to extend the range. Seems stupid but it works haha

    I wonder if there is some type of receiver or antenna under the dash or hood somewhere? Maybe it's not connected if there is one.

    That's what I'm thinking too. It's got to be some kind of interference.
    @wspearce3
    Do you have any aftermarket electrical stuff on your truck? Sub wires, amps, etc?

    No aftermarket electrical stuff as far as I know. Everything seems to be stock. I got the truck used in really good condition.

    That's what I'm thinking it has to be. This would make the most sense. I have no idea where to start looking for this antenna.

    Mine too, thats why I'm hesitant to change my fob. I like the AJT one , but my remote start works through buildings from decently far away right now. I really don't want to lose that.
    I'm wondering as well if there is some sort of antenna on the truck that receives the signal, and the OP's isn't working. My old car was like that after I switched remotes and it was frustrating.
