Westcott Designs Front level only. Rear is stock.

Original height we were at:
Rear: 23 3/4"
Front: 21 1/4"

After the Westcott Level (i left off the top 1/2" shim in the kit since I'm not touching the rear). Now sits at:
Rear: 23 3/4"
Front: 23 1/2"

Netted 2 1/4" in the front. If you install the full front kit, you'll get close to 3" if that's what youre looking for.

Right now it's still a quarter inch higher in the rear. Sits perfect in my opinion. And fits the 35s really good. Measurements are taken from center of axle to the bottom edge of fender liner.

 

To follow up on @KroppDuster installing the lift yourself will be easy enough. I've done a few suspension changes myself and once you do a few times it goes smoother each and every time and you accumulate all the necessary tools. The one thing about the Westcott kit is that you'll have to disassemble the shock and strut and put it back together. If you've never used a spring compressor before I would give you a wise word of warning and be very careful with them. Failure or improper use of them can be pretty catastrophic. If you still want to tackle the job yourself you can always take the strut off, bring it to a shop and they can always disassemble and reassemble it with the westcott collars using a wall mounted spring compressor for like $50. That's the way to go if you don't want to use janky spring compressors.

 

Looks perfect, that was the exact truck I was planning on ordering until I backed out. You kinda make me regret that lol.

 

Or you can disassemble and reassemble it yourself, but take the struts to a shop and have them install the collar kit for you. I helped a friend install his leveling and he didn’t have a spring compressor kit. The rent a tool stores didn’t have one either. I called the shop down the street and they charged him $20.

Did you end up paying a shop to do it or do it yourself?

 

Went with a local shop. With the front level, its actually pretty easy to do, but I didnt feel like messing with spring compressors. Shop knocked out the install and alignment in a couple hours.

well Washington tends to overcharge for everything lol. It was $400 for the install, a little steep since they only touched 2 corners. Then another $150 for alignment.

 

Granted I don't know a ton about installs but $400 doesn't sound terrible at all, honestly. It's also a good reference point for me. Thanks for the info! Looks great.

I just finished a road trip and I noticed my fuel economy went from 13L / 100km to 14.2.

I am thinking I need to flash my computer to update the tire size? Hoping that will bring back some fuel efficiency?

Yup, once you flash the computer for tire size it should improve you mpg calculations. Excuse my ignorance in the metrics system.. since im used to only calculating mpg, but chances are youre really traveling ~105-110km on the 14.2 liters of gas. Even though the trip is only showing 100km. So in reality youre getting better fuel economy numbers than the truck is telling you.

 

I was quoted $700 at two different places in Oregon.
