Yes I know, another boring "will it fit" thread lol, but really needing some real world feedback on this....I purchased new wheels that are 17x8.5 w/ +35 offset (had the option to do +15 but I think +35 will minimize frame rub better) and want to pair with 35x12.50x17s. I'm worried about rubbing the cab mount/frame. I'm prepared to do a BMC if I have to, but I'd prefer to just get a 35x11.50 instead of doing a BMC...

Is anyone running this tire size and wheel offset? Do you/did you rub the frame?

    THANK YOU!!!!

Pretty sure that is the same offset as the rock warrior wheels so try a search for those wheels and you should get some hits. Ive certainly seen people run 35s on RW wheels and I think the +35 is perfect for a Tundra, easier clearance and looks great.

    Found a few

RW wheel is +50. I like it a lot, just hard to find, and when you do people want upwards of $1,200 for very used wheels. Ultimately, I wanted some 17" wheels from Method, but I opted for these. Can't beat it for $129 a wheel, especially for heavy off road use.
    Cheers.

I’m about to order these exact wheels I’ve been looking everywhere for a fitment advice without creating a new post. Listen I have a 12 RW stock height these wheels come in a 17x8.5 15/35 offset and I was wondering what I should choose also would my 285/70-17 tires fit without any issues?

285/70/17 is a skinny 33” so I wouldn’t think you’d have any fitment issues with either offset for the set up you mentioned. Both offsets will clear UCA so your only area for potential rub will be front mud flaps and front factory bumper. So you will just need to decide on what “stance” you want.

Here’s the caveat - if you plan on going up in tire size (primarily a 35” tire) you will very likely need a BMC w/ a 35x12.50 tire and the +15 offset. If you were to go with a skinny 35 say 11” ish wide, you mighttttt be able to avoid the bmc. I do rub sway bar at full lock only with the +35 wheels and 35x12.50 tires but DID NOT need bmc. Plenty clearance there. Another factor to consider..with +15 you will very likely not rub sway bar but you will be poking outside fenders 1”+ so debris will be slung down your truck (ie: rocks) (fix is fender flares but meh…IMO)
The +35 i went with paired with 35x12.50 i am nearly completely flush with my fenders. (No flares).

This is an AlphaEquipt wheel in size 17x8.5 with the +15 offset with a 315/70/17 tire (pretty close to 35x12.50 depending on tire manufacturer)
My buddy sent me these pics

Again, I’m only rubbing sway bar at full lock on un even surfaces. Yes its annoying, but i can live with it for now. Only options would be ditch sway bar (dont want the added body roll), wheel spacers (just no, lol), or maybe running a skinny 35” next time around. From this experience I do believe +25 would be a better offset that would also avoid bmc, however, My buddy is running 35x12.50s on a +25 wheel and he also rubs sway bar every once and a while, so sounds less frequent than my rub.

Np man. I found very limited info on this offset as well when I had to research it. Yes, I think +35 with 285/70 will fit your application fine with probably no rub. Sway bar rub is only coming into play with a 35”+
You could also buy a cheap used 285/70 and test fit before you buy 4 new tires. Good luck man. Please post pics here when they’re mounted!
