I remember reading about some good discounts from a certain Toyota dealer for online parts. But cannot find it.
Is that sale still going on?

It was several participating dealerships, but ended about a week ago.

However, search Google for Serra Toyota of Decatur parts and you'll get their parts site. They're almost always doing free shipping on orders over $75 and zero tax, plus some of the lowest online OEM parts storefront pricing out there (Seems to average about 10-15% off standard)

    Beer cans?
Believe me I can't wait. I'm gonna see if I can find the spare 2 hours or so to swap the lower mounts on my fox's this weekend. I think if I measure threads, then measure height difference on the mounts, I should be able to reset them to the same height. I'll get aligned later, I don't drive it often.

It will be nice to know my brake lines are in the clear again.

I found out I wasted money on my spring compressor only after my father saw me using it so he told me I could have used his heavy duty ones he bought in the 70s.

Like where were you when I was talking about it for the last month?

I don't like asking mine because they mistake asking for a tool for asking for a solution.

I'm looking at this and thinking where are the Brembo rotors/calipers/pads to complement the upgrade?

I put a deposit down on sliders today.

... for the Tacoma :) And realized while doing so that I've only barely had any time with my Tundra after the slider install. Hah!

Got my front diff drain plug out. Welded in a 10mm hex socket with 1/2 drive. Came out super easy once I had that in there. Guessing the heat had a lot to do with that. That's a relief. I'll be more careful next time.

Tools used. Most important was a cheap beer. Felt right while doing this type of work in driveway.
    PXL_20220402_000127104.jpg

I choose a pic that is slightly blurry for a reason... My welding skills are not good.

Yep, super stout but using mine made me feel a lot more confident that I wasn’t going to die like the crappy small rental one did.

Got some new old stock FJ wheels and fresh tires. Sadly all the new lug studs I did, all 24, are going to have to come out and I'm going to need extended lug studs. But it'll look good after I redo everythung I just did...0402221230.jpg

Those aren’t FJ wheels, they are 4runner trail wheels, and whatever studs you put on previously must have been incorrect.
That sucks to do all the work and have to redo it

Can you just run extended lugs instead, sounds much easier than redoing the studs

Thank you for repeating exactly what I said. Also thank you for reminding me that I get to redo everything I just did. Always nice to have some salt in them fresh ones ya know....

For those who care and or want to know the solution to this error.... I put factory Tundra legnth doorman studs on M12x 1.5x 2 inches which work just fine with the factory wheels that came with the truck hmthat has a -06 ET, however the -15 ET kinda sorta was an oversight on my end. The studs I should have bought at M12x 1.5x 2.75 or 3 inchs

And seeing as the Vexhile these came off of, from a dealership, was an FJ, listed by the OEM liquidator as FJ wheel, dismounted from and FJ...... I'd say they were FJ wheels. However yes they could have been off a 4runner as they shared the same lug pattern, and now they're Tundra wheels.
