    More on the way
Hey guys I know that a number of you have swapped out the stock interior lights for some brighter white LED lights. I don't feel like reinventing the wheel and would prefer to lean on someone else who has already done the research.

    1. Which company will make a good LED light for this purpose? Where is the best place to purchase them from?

    2. Does anyone have any write ups or videos of how to pop off the light covers without breaking them?

Some guys have had good luck with LEDs inside, others ended up shorting things out and/or burning through fuses. I left mine as is because I didn't want the headaches, so I can't be of much help.

I'm sure the guys will chime in soon and get the you complete scoop.

Actually its pretty easy to pop up the light covers. In order not to break the lights, I used plastic gloves in order to pry out the lights from the socket in install them. I installed 10 lights. four in the overhead, two in the front doors, two in the back doors, two for the rear license plates. Took me about 30 mins.

Watch out for the overhead compartment. If you push too much or struggle, you might push the switch out of the socket and then you would have to remove the whole overhead compartment. if your fingers are too big, use needle point pliers with electrical tape on the ends to remove them.

I switched all of mine out to Sylvania Zevo LED's a year ago and haven't had any issues. I swapped the cargo and reverse lamps at the same time for Zevos as well. The only bulb that's different is the footwell bulb, #74 I believe, ordered from SuperBrightLED's.

Headlight Revolution is the way to go. I ordered some generic ones off Amazon for my 2014 in red (allows you to keep your night vision and see outside) but they were so dim, you couldn't see inside. I got the Headlight Revolution kit for my 2017 in red and they perform as advertised... check out the video trainracer posted earlier in the thread.. gives step by step instructions.., piece of cake!
