Hey guys. 2009 Tundra TRD Off Road. My wiper blades wont turn off. Anyone have this problem before? I drove around all day yesterday with ice under where the wiper blade stops which didn't allow it to go all the way back to its normal resting position. Stupid I know. Don't be lazy like I was. I suspect that this likely caused the problem.

Now as soon as I turn the key the wipers run on low speed. I can use the switch to turn them up to high/medium speed but am unable to turn them off. I pulled the fuse and that turned them off temporarily. Any ideas what I should check?

    Appreciate any help.

I was just thinking this as well. Possibly a relay. Do you happen to know which one it is? I can't really tell none of them are labeled wiper I dont think.

I guess I am somewhat confused. Number 43 for the wiper should be there?

It's like there's some sort of cover I am not quite sure. But I believe that is just a fuse so that wouldn't be the issue I don't think.
I am going to be forced to drive the truck. Should I pull the fuse or just let the wipers run constantly?

If you do figure out which relay you think it is, I have found in other vehicles that they share similar relays for other items on the vehicle. A quick temporary swap to confirm that that is your issue will help you from buying a relay unnecessarily.

on my previous vehicle, it had a problem with the low beam relay going out, I confirmed by swapping it out with the same relay from the fan. Same part number and everything. I don’t know for certain if this will work, but figured it’s good to have in your arsenal.

Oh thank god im so happy! It randomly started working properly again after driving around with it going non stop for an hour or two. That fuse/relay is still a mystery to me. Dont let snow and ice build up around the wipers guys.

Relays will stick from time to time, Im pretty sure the snow didn't help but I'm sure it was insignificant to begin with if any...
