None of my other turn signals are sequential, and I don't have any plans to change that. I figured the sequential may look out of place. I do however regret not getting powerfold. I have to fold my mirrors in parking at home now. (Would have had to fold the stock mirrors in as well. My garage is tight.)

What was the final configuration that worked? I ordered the same mirrors and already have a gen2 switch.

Could someone send me a link to the Gen 2 switch that could substitute for the Boost Auto provided auto mirror switch? TIA.

Also, maybe for Rainman_PNW, does anyone know what wire to tap into in order to connect flood lights on Boost Auto mirror to interior doom and floorboard lights (instead of reverse)?

    Thanks for any guidance.

What do you mean by auto mirror switch?
If you are wanting the switch that fits the stock location but has the button to fold the mirrors in, try this.
    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07Q572QBK

In your driver footwell area, there should be a single bulb that illuminates when you open doors or unlock the vehicle. I tapped that when doing my side lights (not for my boost mirrors). Hope that helps

Edit: here's a post that explains it better.

RobertD - super helpful. One follow-up -- the Amazon linked product references several Toyota models but not Tundra. Are you confident it fits the Tundra (looks like it will). Seems like that approach would be cleaner then adding the Boost Auto provided stad-along switch in my center console.

It is also interesting that the comparable Sparks Part switch is $120.

90% confident. Its the switch I ordered but its still in box because I ran into issues with my painting.
I just didn't want to pay that much for a switch....

I’m planning to use that switch too. I got the switch on Amazon with the plug/wires. Still waiting on my mirrors to arrive. My plan is to use the wires that Boost Auto provides that go to their switch and I’m going to do in-line splices from the old connector to the new plug/wires. Colors don’t match, but just match pin to pin.
Here’s my stock limited plug currently… missing 2 wires on right side. That’s where I’ll splice in ones from Boost that would go to their switch.A55EC3E6-36B6-4689-A8B8-7909B7B06818.jpg

So I have a 2012 Crew Max Rock Warrior with just power adjust and defrost. I ordered the KTJO dash switch with the power fold switch. When I took out the old switch, my wiring harness has 10 wires into the plug, the old switch is simply missing pins at certain locations. The new switch has all the pins, the harness has all the wires. Would simply getting a set of power fold mirrors and installing them, give me the power fold now with the new switch or would that be too easy?

Yup, pretty sweet. Zero vibration that I can tell. What a difference from stock with nothing but defrost.

Luna aka Blockhead likes my Boost Auto mirrors almost as much as her softball and hardball.

Just consider it a challenge. I have less than 2-inches to spare getting through the garage door, with a tight turn while exiting to get out the driveway. Been doing it for 6 years now without a scratch. Of course, tomorrow is another day. :plane:

I've pretty much decided to spring for these since everything on Amazon is long term out of stock and eBay doesn't have enough detail to know exactly what I'm getting. Buy once, cry once and whatnot.

Here's what I'm thinking but am open to suggestions:

    Black
    Amber dotted (amber LED)
I'm on the fence between signal & running 1.0 and signal and running 2.0.
Low output flood (since I don't think my truck has these anyway)
Can't decide if I need defrost for the lower glass as well or if upper only is sufficient only. I'm unlikely to tow in the winter.
    Manual fold
    No BSM

I didn't like their dotted so I did the amber strip. I also wanted them on as a drl so I did option 2. But you know your truck and I'm sure the options you picked will work.
Mine are still boxed... I need to paint my caps and was trying to do it myself but ran into issues... hoping to get that corrected soon.

I don't know if I've ever seen any in the wild with the dimmer 1.0 running lights. Maybe I'll spring for the extra $40 per mirror to get 2.0.

You won’t be sorry, still love these things as much as the day I installed em…as for the options, whatever works best for you!…I will say having the defrost on the lower portion is definitely nice, I find myself using the lower glass a lot on the highway when switching lanes, virtually eliminates blind spot…let me know if ya need anything with the install!

Looking for a little advice...I have the same set up as you with the exact same wiring...I emailed boost and they told me the yellow and blue wires are both for the auto fold...I explained to them that I did not want to use the switch they sent as I don't really like it...they told me if I don't wire it just like they show in the video my warranty will be voided...

I have two switches ordered (one will fit in the blank switch spots I have and the other is the OEM type with the folding mirror button added). I plan on looking at them and seeing which I like better....

I also have a separate switch for the lights on the mirror because I do not want them to come on when I go in reverse...

How did you end up wiring it? Looking for some thoughts before I get to work.

On another note, the mirrors are installed and I love them, but the passenger top mirror vibrates bad over about 30 mph...I contacted them and they want a video...that is easier said than done...anyone else go down this road??

Hey Patrick...love all the videos...you have helped me lots over the past year! Was wondering if I could pick you brain on some wiring questions about my tow mirrors? I posted in this thread earlier but have not gotten any responses...I want to set mine up very similar to what you did in the Youtube install video...Thanks!

Reverse power aux lights Boost auto fold mirrors Switched reverse lights Trying to switch power port to USB: failing
anyone change the switch on the Boost aftermarket power fold option, but not to an OEM combined fold/adjust switch? The switch boost sent does not fit any of my blanks, and I want to switch out the switch for an AOB one that fits an open blank. Need help with wiring it.
