I wouldn't even run a 42 on the roof... that's just crazy talk...

But yeah for lower opening? You'd lose about a foot of light total. 6 inches on each side.

Looks like I need to go buy a $250 battery. The Durango is acting up at start up. Battery is showing 11.8v after shutting down, pretty good I guess since it's a vintage 2011.

Ah, yeah and the plate blocks. Forgot about that. I think maybe 2x6” would be my plan.

First stop - going to try some vibration isolators. A tad more space between the plates than I want, but not much more than the supplied spacers. No modding of the plates required so we will see.

Yes, Eric. I may do that as well, he may know something. These parts will arrive tomorrow and are cheap, so I'll chuck them in and see if I still need to go back to the drawing board. It also donned on me that some precision drilling where they overlap would allows some bolts to tie them rather than welds if that ever becomes a need.

Well I’m going in the poor house…. Seller accepted our offer on 29 acres yesterday. They had 58 acres for sale originally. Just couldn’t swing the cost to get all of it.

Drove my truck yesterday then came home and parked in the garage. Kroil was running low so this time I used PB Blast to soak my 02 sensor nuts. My god. The entire garage filled up with smoke. It looked like I had hot boxed it :rasta:

Apparently Blaster is more potent. Then my furnace that's in the garage kicked on and it spread that smell through most of the house. Called my wife to warn her before she came home. The Mangler struck again. :anonymous:

    Initially read that incorrectly.

Man that sux. I think I used my goto rust penetrant which is the Mopar stuff since I can dispense it through a straw like liquid wrench.

I'm gonna swap the downstream sensors today. Depending on how long it takes I may start on the upstream sensors too.

If you can't get the upstream to budge, try tightening it slightly then loosen it slightly. If you can do that, you can rock it back and forth continually more and more until it frees up to remove altogether.

My upstream came out with very minimal effort and appeared original. Maybe I got lucky but I never sprayed them with anything.
Oh uh how do your nuts look?

On your downstream sensors of course

I was about to clarify, the truck was off. I sprayed it after I parked it.

Damn looks like you're real lucky then. Should just be able to zip those right off.

You'll never have one as nice as OEM
The cheap ones don't snap together quite right and are a bit disappointing but I don't think that you can get OEM anymore though I haven't looked to hard for one.

buy another fob on eBay (used or whatev) and transfer the guts for now, you'll have a spare set of guts you could program as an additional and maybe keep a spare fob in the glove box for rare moments when you want to hand off keyless access to someone.
