Loud clicking noise

I went to start truck and all I got was a loud rapid clicking. I just got a new battery 6 months ago, duralast gold. I'm thinking starter or solenoid. Anyone had this problem, any help would be appreciated

 

I have been though 5 of those POS batterys man. Get it checked you might have a bad cell like mine did.

 

Lol Mike you are the man, on time every time. Yeah I thought I might of done something when I was screwing around with the fogs. I checked all fuses and all good. Are you saying the duralast has been giving you trouble

 

i went though 5 of them from around thanksgiving to 2 weeks ago. Every one the cell drops out. One died in a week. one never made it out the door i had them test it, pos was bad too.. UGH.

While your at autozone have them do test to the alt. and starter since you are there to rule anything out.

 

I'm dead in the water, had to drive my daily driver to doctor. I'm gonna try to jump it and hope to get it started to get to AutoZone. Any recommendations on a dependable battery

 

Under warranty man replace it save your money.

Battery no matter who makes them they all fail. They all use the cheapest stuff in them on there plates.

 

By the way I ended up calling hid company and the said to go up 5 amps on the fuse, I did and got the driver side working, but not passenger. I switched ballast and got nothing. He's sending me new ballast new bulbs and a relay switch at no cost. Nice customer service. Thanks for your help Mike
