i have the focal 6x9 components in the front and 165 2 way 5 1/2 in the rear. I found the component tweeters a bit bright s swapped them out with Hertz but they are solid speakers.

Added Tundra lettering to the tailgate. Got them from Amazon. They're metal and had 3M adhesive on the back. I hope they last a long time.

Since I did the Gecko lights yesterday, I was able to get the Victory 4x4 panel in today. One of the few times I was grateful to have whopper hands, it was a tight squeeze getting the panel bolted to the mounting plates. I’ll just take the bed bolts out all the way once I get my traction boards, fire extinguisher and applicable brackets now that I have the panel where I want on the mounting plates. Light output from the LEDS is still good too, I was worried the panel might block a decent amount.

!! WARNING !! @pvn.beluga – I found rats in my dash and caught a parasitic infection (actual microscopic bugs living in my body by the millions). They were living in my dash. Seeds, nests, etc. I ended up in the hospital. Took months and many doctors with no clue what was happening. Then I saw a naturopath doctor and he said "I think you have bugs" – I thought he was a quack. But sure enough, found the rats, I was breathing their dried up feces as it blew through my vents into my face ... then lungs. Rat droppings have parasitic larva that hatch once they find a new host. I was a gnarly experience. Toyota Tundras had an opening in the fire wall near the heater core that would allow rodents to get into the dash. I believe it was changed at some point but not 100% sure.

Maybe I should do a separate post and share my whole story.

They seem a tad on the brighter side. I'm going to tune them down a smidge with the adjustments on the amp and go from there.

Interested in meds prescribed to get better ?? One of the first mods I did was screen all the holes on fire wall after reading of several 'mice' problems.

Omg check your cabin air filter | Toyota Tundra Forum (tundras.com) Good info to avoid future problems

the hertz tweeters made a nice improvement for me. The mid bass of the focals is nice.

Much, much brighter. But not something you’d want to use on road.

You alluded to the fact that Toyota may have changed the design at the firewall, near the heater core, to prevent the rodent infestation. Do you know what year model(s) are and are not affected?
    Thanks!

@Tundra805 - care to elaborate what specific organism you were infected with. Zoonotic diseases attributed to rodents are caused by protozoan (toxoplasmosis, leishmaniasis), helminths (hymenolepiasis, trichinellosis, echinococcosis, and capillariasis), viruses (Lassa fever, Hantavirus diseases, tick-borne encephalitis, as well as Argentine and Bolivian hemorrhagic fever), and bacteria (plague, leptospirosis, lyme disease, and relapsing fevers). Basically rats/mice need to be exterminated. Damn soy wires...

Considering he has a 20, pretty sure the holes behind the cowl are all there in the same place. Not sure if they changed this on the new 3rd Gen yet, but hopefully they caught wind of this problem and added some mesh. You didn't post what year you have, but definitely take the time to do this simple mod, well worth a few hours of your time IMO.

I had to do this today. I did my routine oil and filters change, only to find seeds and other mice/rat gatherings in my K&N cabin filter. Fortunately, the metal screening of the filter, stopped any chewing or further damage. I blocked off the access with gutter guard, attached with self-tapping screws and silicone.
