Does anyone know how they lowered the sport suspension. Did they use completely different coils or did the just compress them further.

My 19 RAV4 is the same, it is crazy annoying with the sensors in winter!

Drove to Toronto last night in a snowstorm and the warning was up the whole time. Very annoying, however in those conditions I don't think the pre-collision systems would have helped. Worst part was not being able to keep warning message from popping up.

That would bug me too. Perhaps that's something that can be corrected with an OTA ("over the air") update?

Well if my 2019 still does it, I wouldn’t hold my breath. But maybe with more people willing to complain about it, perhaps….

I have noticed a handful of warnings that seem to stay up full time when it doesn’t seem they are designed to and others trucks don’t. Prime example being the multi terrien select. If I change from sand the warnings usually stay up but not always. Also my gas gauge just quit working… I’m very hopefull the next update deals with a lot of these issues.

Take it to the dealer for your gas gauge

It seems ‘needy’ but I’m a proponent of bringing it in for these ‘little’ things when it’s new & under warranty. They won’t seek a permanent fix unless they know it’s a problem. The dealership may not but Toyota who pays the bill may be more motivated to ‘clean up’ these annoyances.

Agreed, but keep an eye on this.

If you have any honest buddies with an F-150 Ecotech they will admit the "official" EPA MPG is "optimistic"
The F-150 Hybrid doesn't seem to have greatly improved on that trend. EPA combined is supposed to be 24 MPG. See below for real world.

If anything the EPA 14 MPG combined for a 4WD 5.7 Tundra seems to be conservative. I'm generally in the 14-15 MPG with 295 tires with about 75% city.

If the 2022 non-hybrid is anything to go by I would not be surprised to 2022 Hybrid actually meet or slightly exceed it's EPA official MPG in the real world.

Do you know what they need to do? I find it’s helpful if you tell a Machanic what the problem is to save a lot of time..

I read on here somewhere that the gas gauge is fixed by a reflash/update. One guy was in and out fairly quickly by going that route I think.

Seems like they need to calibrate the float sensor in the tank.

Looks like they painted the lower cross section like like weve been saying all along. Everyone talks about how big the tundra grill is, but its only because its all black, if they would paint that lowet part, the grill would look normal like this sequoia. The all black grill looks good on the tundra pro, but the other trims, need the painted lower imo.

I know this guy is just going for "incompetent funny" but it was hard to even skim through. Guys like these ruin a nice day of off-roading. You take a vehicle with poor clearance and an overly long wheelbase, then air down the tires to lose another inch of clearance, then run the dumbest line on a simple obstacle. It's supposed to be funny, but no fun when you are stuck behind him on a trail. Just made me sad.

Now that doesn't surprise me anymore. I've seen too many 70-80k Hummers up to their windshields in water. It just has to be filed under "people are stupid".

Dude obstructed nobody. He showed you what you can or cannot do with your stock 2022 Tundra depending on if you want to keep it sissy clean or not.

Odd how it just starts out of nowhere.

I said he reminded me of folks who obstruct trails. And let me fix that for you: he showed what you can or cannot do with your stock 2022 Tundra if you have no idea what you are doing.

I was just reading about the troubles a couple people are having with the dash warning lights and head units. I was just told a lady that spent 80K on a new Tundra and the truck slammed on the brakes with kids in the car and then it started to act like Christine and locked them in, windows, mirrors, and locks would not work!

I know I saw all those threads too and stuff all over the internet. I’m curious what the ratio is of how many tundras are sold to how many issues people are having already. I guess reliabilities is out the window for 2022. But people will jump in here to make excuses. While dogging the big three for the same thing.
