Yesterday, my family was driving in the Tundra and some person wasn't paying attention and started swerving into my lane. I honked the horn to alert the driver that he was encouraging and the whole vehicle erupted into laughter. The Tundra's horn sounded just like the Corolla's. High pitched and wimpy.

I need to fix this. I need a horn that makes you want to grunt like Tim Allen. You can't have a dual exhaust sound that good and a horn sound that weak. Any suggestions?

If you want a Tim Taylor style horn you gotta do it right and build one. I built mine from an 8" pvc reducer holding the diaphragm, some 4" pvc pipe for the neck, and a bell I made from fiberglass molded over a traffic cone. It's powered by a 1/2" airline with a 5/8" fast action solenoid and will empty the seven gallons of 210psi air i have on board in a matter of seconds :D It sounds like a cruise ship horn and I've had people tell me they've heard it when I was over a mile away :rofl:I highlighted the horn because my camera is shit and it's not easy to pick out what you're looking at

Hornblasters has a single trumpet horn they call the Musket. It isn't an air horn per se but runs off a single solenoid much like the horn @someguyinhtx posted.

It is nowhere near a train horn's sound but definitely more audible and deeper than an OEM horn.

I've had to replace the solenoid a few times but Hornblasters replaced it free of charge.

my brother in law installed train horns on his GMC 3500. To the tune (pun intented) of about $1800. You can hear them for miles. He spent more on the horns than my full suspension upgrade, but he does that.

I have one of the 150db air horns with the little screw compressor. I tapped into my existing horns and have all 3 blowing at the push of the steering wheel horn and it is loud. I call it "training" people when I blow it! Get it!!:rofl::rofl:

    Not my monies.

I'll try to post a video/s when we test it, testing will be with-in 20' - 1 mile out , 2 miles out and 3 miles out. We will also go to the local R&R Xing and compare horns.

I have something similar to someguyinhtx's. It's a tankless "air" horn. Definitely louder than stock and will make people in a parking lot jump. But it's nothing close to the air/train horns with a tank. Those can be heard a mile away. Mine likely won't get me in trouble, but I've used it multiple times on careless drivers. Or ones who are stopped at a green light while texting...it works and is under $100. Easy install too
