Check the build link in my signature.
    Valhalla Shields installed.
I’m not gonna lie - alone under the truck on a sloped gravel driveway without a jack - it was a pain in the ass. Not particularly difficult other than lots of grunting, swearing, and contorting my hands into lots of small uncomfortable spaces.

The plates are solid. They’ll definitely provide some underbody armor for getting out in the woods. They are solid. They don’t flex or bend (which probably added to the challenge of install a bit). I’m very happy with them.

My honest opinion on hardware? The security screws are overkill. I installed them for the rear bolts on the transmission skid (front shield) because I bought them before I bought the skid plates. But the crackhead tweaker that wants to steal your cats isn’t running around with a full set of wrenches and sockets (both SAE and metric for my truck, since my front skid is the TRD Pro with metric bolts), and isn’t going to take the time to fuck around getting to the nuts up top to pull the regular hardware off to get the skids off. And his sawzall is gonna fight like hell on the bolt heads if he tries to just cut them off. And he’s not gonna want to spend the time figuring out the right order to pull things off to actually get up there... he’s just gonna shimmy his tweaking ass back out from under your truck and go hit the next one down the street instead.

Crappy pic, because it was dark when I finished. And by this time tomorrow, they’ll be dusty and dirty like everything else under there. :D

Hey @Angry Gunny - I have an SSM too - did you buy them color matched or do it yourself? If bought color matched, where at and do you recommend for others?

Tried my hand at a little Plasti Dipping of the rims. Did about 8 coats. Not too bad. I love the addition of the blacked out rims, to everything else I have done to black out the truck.

Very funny!...good thing they weren't all sixes!

Is that a factory screen for outside temp. on the 2014 model? My 2016 only has a VERY small outside temp. indicator which I can barely see.

Had the bed Line-x. Went with the color match to prevent it from getting untouchable in the summer and because I think it looks awesome. In different light it changes color quite dramatically, which is cool.

It certainly wasn't cheap, to get the black coating it was $475 and to get it color match it was $960... It might have been cheaper to go for a brand that was not line-x but I've always loved the quality and look...

Yup, it hurt the wallet but staring at it heals the soul...my penniless soul. Again if you don't live in the South, it's just bling...I'm hoping that when it heats up it'll feel like it's a good value.

Finally got around to painting and installing the backing plate for my tri-color emblem to fit my trd pro grille. The sun washed out the last pic. I'll make another one when it's in the shade.
