Do some searching and you'll find them, same way I did. They unfortunately made some changes on 2021 models, including the frames. The fuel tank skid is the only one I'm missing, and I'm waiting on someone to design that is bolt on for 2021 models.

I've actually commented on one or two of those threads, but don't have time to find them

I have had this same exact issue very recently. I have a 2021 SR5 4x4. I had to use a peice of aluminum flat to fab up a bracket to the crossmember. It works, but the website clearly states that this will fit on a 2021.

RCI definitely fabricates some quality stuff!
That being said, they leave a lot to be desired as far as complete installation hardware goes. Personal experience as well as many threads…
Sometimes it’s just missing nuts or bolts, but other times there’s these brackets or something else

Can you post a picture of this issue? We might be able to identify the problem and if it’s something we haven’t seen we would love to look into it!

The picture of my issue was posted in this thread with Safar85's pictures of the "floating" bracket.

The area in red is where I attached a flat from the bracket to the hole in the crossmember.

Thank you for the photos! I have brought this to the attention of the shop owner and our engineer. We are working on a resolution for this!

Sounds like I WILL be getting a fuel tank skid soon, then!

Would it be possible to have the bracket that your team comes up with sent to me when it is developed? I would much rather have something specifically designed for this purpose rather than something i just threw together.

Hats off to @RCIoffroad‘s response and attention on this. No one wants to realize something they ordered that was supposed to fit doesn’t fully fit but we’ve seen it happen on here with multiple items from multiple vendors. Some vendors ignore the problem even though they are fully aware of it - others pretend there isn’t a problem and lose their vendor status - some step up and try to make things right.

Glad I purchased RCI engine, trans, and fuel skids. Everything fit perfect and I received all the correct hardware.

Agreed. I have been happy with my RCI products for the most part, I have pretty much every skid they sell with the exception of the tranny one since i have the Valhalla. I am glad I was able to install and secure the tank skid, but i realize not everyone is as capable when it comes to fabricating stuff on the fly and having scrap metal lying around.

+10000 I have full RCI skids and am extremely happy with them. Hopefully the 38 gallon tank skid installs without issue. I’ll report back to confirm when that happens.

This issue does not impact the 38 gallon tanks. Installed the skid in 2 minutes.

Any insight into the install for the 38 gallon tank? I tried looking on RCI website but couldn’t find anything. Is it similar to the 26 where you have RCI straps as well?

The plastic skid from the factory uses the straps with the mounting points. Therefore, if you have a plastic skid, you do not need the straps. If you have no factory skid, you will need the gas tank straps. I believe RCI just stocks the OEM straps. The skid for the 38 gallon tank uses the strap mounting points. 3 straps for the 38 gallon tank, 2 straps for the 26.

In addition to the above, the install was a breeze. RCI provided hardware and it was literally bolt on with 6 bolts and 6 washers. Took me and a buddy 2 minutes to install.

I believe it is cheaper to buy the straps from Sparks or any dealer with free shipping. As stated above, they are the OEM straps.

Would the RCI be overkill for a daily driver? My SR5 does not have a factory skid at all.

Not in my opinion. Crap falling onto the freeways is probably more likely to mess up your tank than occasionally wheeling. But as I always say, I love overkill.

I have the same situation. I had contacted rci and they told me it was due to my truck being 2wd, hence missing some parts off a 4wd. The solution I was given was to use a self taping screw in that location. I didn’t like that solution and ended up using a Simpson strong tie a24. The bolt hole on the long portion actually lined up perfectly with the rci strap. Then drilled a hole through for the short piece through both ends of the cross member. So it went bolt, washer, cross member, washer, metal cylindrical spacer (could use bunch of washers), washer, cross member, washer, nut.
