Fitment 35/12.5r18 General grabber x3

Looking to upgrade tires on my pro. Found a good deal on some 35/12.5r18 general grabber x3 tires and want to know who has run them and what they had to do to make them fit.

I'm thinking i might need 1" bora spacers to keep the tires from hitting the UCA. I'm running all stock right now and don't plan on touching the suspension, but I know I might need to do some stuff around the wheel well. Please give me your i inputs and explain.

And I know these tires will fit even though my rim is 8" width and it's not recommended to go 12.5" tires I'm going to do it anyways hah

 

I do 35x12.5x17 on 8" wide wheel with no issues. even hard off road

 

Im running 35*12.5r18 on factory pro wheels. i have a 1/4 space on mine and I clear with no rubbing.

Do U have a picture from the side, want to see how they look if I got a 1" or 1.25" spacer

 

Im running X3's 35x12.50r18. But I have a 7" lift with +1 offset wheels. My tires just barely grazed the front plastic right after install, but after a couple thousand miles dont touch anymore. I really like the tires so far. Havnt tried them in the snow yet and only had them for a couple thousand miles so I cant speak for the durability.

 

Do you have any kind of lift on the stock pro suspension?

 

I have 2 coachbuilder shims on each side in the front & +3 shackles in the rear.

 

Do you think I'll clear it without?

 

I think it should, it will be close

I'm going to attempt it, finding better deals on 35x12.50r18 then on 295/70r18. Just gotta make sure 1" spacers will clear stock wheels hubs. Might just go 1.25" to be safe and ride that wider stance

 

yea plus the spacers do look good too. the 295 will fit better stock, since they are a big skinnier. I was going to get generals when i went to 35s but i found a set at a local shop here for like $650

Just found a set of 35/11.5r18 so they are 1" narrower and should clear the UCA. They are also $300 cheaper too. Can't find anyone running these to see what modifications id have to do to make them fit if anh
