I expect they actually make more money off the financing and both nee and used, but I have no idea.

I like boring. Our 2005 Echo was my favourite vehicle we’ve owned to date. Loved that car! Love our Prius! Would love a Camry hybrid!
I don’t care if the real or self professed automotive journalists and reviewers consider a vehicle to be boring. I just want them to present a well researched, unbiased and professional report on their experience with the vehicle. But, that makes for boring content these days.
Bring in the TFL drag races and fuck the boring Motortrend and Edmund’s track testing with all their stats and facts and results.

Valid point, I forgot about in house financing. I never financed through a dealer

I’m going platinum as well, but chose black exterior. I’m hoping it all blends well, but I am still amazed at the number of different colors chosen for the exterior.

Well, they can't say much about reliability after driving the truck for an hour or two. That's why I like the Car and Driver long term tests, though even they only keep a vehicle for a year or two typically.

I wanted a faster vehicle so I also bought a Chevy SS... because 4 door sedans with big V8’s are hilarious.
    Needs more chrome.

Everything is chrome in the future.

I know, and I agree. Hopefully Tim or Roman choose to produce some longer term ownership content that meets my expectations.

I am thinking MGM platinum CM 4x4. Wanted the Super Sonic Red but just looks bad with all the front end colors. Love the black but will never do it again. It's like a second job just to keep it clean. My wife's Highlander is the pearl white and really like it.

Yeah I just can’t do black again. Granted this is a bad angle and also I think the inserts ruin it I’m just not sold and think the black will blend better with gray

I agree. MGM is a close second to black on the platinum for me.

The side profile in white looks good but the gray looks good from all angles. CB430969-492E-4C51-90F2-1A400CA5C736.jpgC11071C4-CF4A-4966-8B55-FA0A23B7B32C.jpgDA3E7871-F5DF-4EAD-9C53-05E3E45206D0.jpg

When you do a build on their site you can order black lettering, black exhaust tips, etc...so why not a "chrome delete" button? makes no sense not to have that option...
By sticking chrome on everything and offering a delete for a price they'd be making money...

Black always looks the best after you wash it. And then you drive it down the street. Lol! I’ve had a lot of black cars/trucks with mostly garage kept and not daily drivers. Once I had a daily driver black, I’ll never do it again.

The TRD OR trim should have had a matte black grille frame

Ceramic coat and microfiber. Makes a huge difference.

I think the tailgate has to be color matched. Also agree with who ever posted it a while back that the bottom black piece on the grille should be color matched. Lose the chrome and do those 2 things, this truck looks like a completely different beast

Trim question, Dealer website advertise DLX Trim? Spec sheet says SR5? What's correct?

Yes, but not at that dealer for the DLX. Daytona Toyota and other out of state dealers have the DLX in their webpage but the truck specs are for a SR5.

It is an SR5. But I believe different regions come out with packages of options. Like the XP. I may be off base here but I think its just an assortment of individual options packaged together under a specific name.

Trim levels on Toyota's website are not going to change based on your dealer's add ons.
