You don't need the whole rear end. Pull the other axle shaft and pull the clamshell out.

Quality usually. The SQ (sound quality) guys like them in the car audio world. Not your typical SPL (sound pressure level) type stuff.

-.04.is toe out. That'll make steering light and somewhat touchy at fwy speeds.

Caster should be 2.5-3.0 degrees for better drivability.

That’s what I thought as well.
I’m strongly considering a trip to see the shop foreman at the local Toyota dealer to have this ho aligned. I’ll send him a text today.

That being said, it doesn’t do anything weird on the freeway in the rain. So it’s damn close to right.

Well it’s cheaper, and I’d assume if it was damaged during shipping then they wouldn’t try and sell it to me.

Current mods: AFE Cold air intake, AFE TB Spacer,JBA Long tube headers, DD full cat back race exhaust, pedal commander pedal controller, URD MAF Calibrator tuned by Mike @ Autowave, DD 12 hole 320CC injectors, R9K ECU reflash,Solid Off road mounts. Future upgrades: 4.8 gears and LSD, ,long travel kit.
I ran a Autozone Denso (Taiwan made) for one year after my OE seaped some coolant out but still worked fine after 13 years. Then I upgraded to a Champion full Aluminum. Rockauto Denso should work fine too.

The dealer is cheaper? You didn't mention that. If that's the case then absolutley. It's a Denso radiator either way right?

Reading up on it now. I'm like 87% sure the 5VZ is mucho different from the 2UZ as far as electrics are concerned for 4WD. I did check flea-bay for the wiring harness, amd ECU. Found plenty of T4R, and Toy Taco ECUs for 4WD, but unsure if the fitment would be right.

Maybe just swap in a 2uz while you're doing the 4wd?

It’s a manual T case. What you need is locking front hubs and keep your current computer and harness as no electronics would be needed then? The trans may be an issue though….

I'll have Noah out in the boneyards looking for a genIII LS with 4l60 and TC (maybe an Atlas?) from a early 2000s GM product.

Don't get me wrong. I'd love to do it, but I'm not sure when I'd for sure know I have "everything" needed. I'd like to go with @KNABORES ideas. Be awesome to have locking hubs and what not, but damn!

I'm still gonna go back IF THEY ARE open Friday and pluck the trans, and T-case out. Not sure about storage...

If @empty_lord agrees to help me swap everything I can deliver them to him for storage in his barn if that'd be okay with him....

Just put it in his barn, he won't even notice. He will probably even do the project without realizing it isn't his truck. Then when you go back to retrieve it just bring some ammo for him as a trade.

I'm sure I can find an ECU and harness locally for you. Interior is hard to find, but electronics and other stuff are plentiful around here.

yeah, like $20 cheaper since I don't have to pay shipping. Sorry, thought I said it was cheaper but I guess I didn't and I'm assuming it's a Denso as well. I guess if I'm unhappy with it I can just return it at the parts desk when I go to buy and look at it.

Went with Gates hoses...probably will replace clamps too I think.
