A friend of mine is buying from Valenti Toyota in Westerly, RI. No Market Adjustment. He was previously dealing with Charles Toyota in Norwich, CT. They wanted him to pay $5000.00 for a Market Adjustment.

Anyone on the forums purchased a 2022 in Las Vegas?
    $2,000.00 Findlay Toyota
    $15,000.00 centennial toyota las vegas
$1,050.00 $500 for local tinting + $549 doc fee AutoNation Toyota Las Vegas

I copied this from the spreadsheet. There's also a David Wilson's Toyota which makes it 4 Toyota dealerships in Southern Nevada. Could anyone update, add, edit the spreadsheet?

That market adjustment isn’t bad though when they’re giving a lifetime power train warranty at nc .

Can I ask which sales member at Cedar Park you're working with? I reached out to them last week and the guy I spoke with seemed pretty indifferent about the transaction (has sent me configs that don't match what I am looking for over and over, etc.) and has a little bit of an off-putting attitude that I don't really want to deal with.

I can confirm that he did say he could get one for me at straight MSRP without the tint/lock deal since it would be a future allocation, though.

I'm in Houston and Toyota of Cedar Park is the closest dealer I can find that isn't upcharging. Fred Haas (the supposed leader in Tundra sales and no BS transactions) is doing 0 markup but required $3000 in add-ons, including $995 front window tint and $1,895 for catalytic converter covers they don't actually have yet and would be a dealer-owed item on the transaction...absurd.

Sent you a message with his info ,

One thing that was annoying was they had me fill out a monthly payment sheet expectations. I think it’s to keep people who don’t understand finance or have never bought a car from showing up and not realizing how payment and interest work, freaking out, and not buying the vehicle .I went round and round about it’s purpose then I just filled it out but added a large narrative that I was not agreeing to any of the proposed numbers listed etc etc.

I have a 2004 Nissan Titan pro4x with 56,000 miles in excellent condition and they offered me 5k for it which is 1/2 trade in value , that was insulting. I laughed at them then they went to 8k. Retail is about 15k, so if anyone knows somebody I got a Titan time machine ready to roll when my Tundra comes in .

First off, going by your username I'm going to guess you are in E. Texas, otherwise I'd be very interested in your truck if you were a bit closer.

If a dealer insists that you play the "payments paperwork" game I can assure you that is a dealer you'll likely end up writing off. They shouldn't require you to do that unless you wanted to.

I'd love to see the fine print on that warranty.
Usually they only cover items that rarely fail, and you're still on the hook for all the parts and labor to get at the few parts covered.
They know what they're doing when they write these "warranties" just in case you don't transfer the truck to a new owner, which always voids these warranties

Yokem Toyota in Shreveport, LA has sent me a few spec printouts that sneak in a dealer “add-on” of 5-6k for “mkt adj”. Ha!
I’m waiting on my truck to come in from my local dealer, VanTrow Toyota of Monroe, who has openly said they won’t charge over MSRP.

I bought from Yokem about 5 years ago and never will again. For some reason, the Shreveport and Bossier dealerships both treat their customers like trash even pre-covid. I guess if both local options there aim to provide poor service, there's little incentive to do better. Kind of speaks to all of S/BC lol.

In my area, many of the dealerships are owned by the same conglomerate. It's not immediately obvious. Because of that, their computer systems are connected, so after you visit the first dealer and go to the next one, it feels like deja vu because they basically treat you exactly the same.

Confirmed Beaverton Toyota is selling below msrp. They had two on the lot today when I went to get an oil filter.

Limited TRD off-road crew max 4x4 and a double cab 2 wheel drive SR5 TRD off road. The limited crew max was sold, but not sure about the double cab.

The msrp for the double cab was $44,148. Price was $41,623. Confirms what my salesman told me via text last week about 4x2 prices. He said about $1,100 above invoice which I assume is why this one was
    $2,525 off msrp.

Maybe we should add another color for dealers selling below msrp without rebates?

Edit: Per Costco Auto that 4x2 is $782 above invoice and not $1,100 ish. Wish that was the case for 4x4's.

Bryan/College Station Toyota in College Station, TX is MSRP after showing them offers from other dealers doing the same. Last week they wanted a $2,500 market adjustment + dealer adds of $1,495 so I declined, but they followed up with me anyway this morning to see if there was any way they could still earn my business. Five minutes after showing them the other offers, it was no longer an issue to do MSRP+TTL with no dealer adds and now I've finally got a deposit down with them.

A 4x2 under MSRP in the PNW isn’t shocking. I wonder what manager screwed up and ordered it. I guess they’re probably happy to take any units right now regardless of configuration though.

Yeah, it’s a hard sell that’s for sure. It’s been there for a week or two even though it shows as still in transit online. I am thinking it was just allocated to them and not that someone ordered it. If someone did request it then I have no clue why!

If they offered that much off a 4x4 then I’d be interested in getting a new tundra sooner than later. $177 off 4x4 models isn’t enough to make me jump though.

Wilsonville Toyota is $250 below msrp for 4x4 Tundras it looks like. That’s their “no bull” price… Like Beaverton they are a one price and one price only per vehicle both pre and post covid.

Its only through them, not Toyota. Bought my 16 from them way back when I was stationed there.
