If i want an extra 300 lbs on the back of my truck it’ll be a thick steel tube bumper full of mineral oil, with a pump and some spray nozzles.

I think a better use of 300lbs of cargo would be banana peels to tactically distribute in traffic.

Ive seen the wiggle gif of the 2nd gen. Theres no fixing that. Might as well start over.

i pick up more than 300 lbs anytime i find a pile of tree or fence.

makes my truck ride like a cadillac.

    I realize I’m obsessed.

these feel nice. Not the right color but I got them cheap to experiment with before I take the real plunge. Very tempting after feeling them in my hands.

Maestro harness is bare wire so it’s mostly a matter of the spiral cable as far as complexity goes? Then finding a proper wheel and airbag cover and see if my existing airbag fits or I need a new bag too?

Photo of the TRD decal. It’s hard to see the black on black. A thin red outline could be just right. I’ll think about it. Or a white or all red TRD if I can find one like this.

Not really. First thing I did when i got it home after having to jumpstart it 6 times in 60 miles was remove the grille for some serious rehabilitation. 3 of the tabs that hold the bolts that hold the grille to the hood were broken and the nuts were seized. I need to remove those nuts so I can get the remains of the tabs and do some serious surgery to preserve the grille. The paint on the truck is in bad shape, especially the tail gate where it looks like it's been rattle canned. I've got a remanned alternator I'll be installing sometime in the next 2 weekends or so. Will be my first time doing one and my first time doing the belt myself too. I've also got some 05-06 tails ordered and a new inner driver door handle and console latch ordered. I need to order the T3 bedside decals because they peeled off according to PO. I did run the VIN and it is legit T3 though.

I didn't want to be the guy to say it, but I tend to agree. I would like it, but the outer rim is too thick. If it was half as thick, I think I'd absolutely love it.

36gal of water is roughly 300lb. Didn't someone used to make water bags 'bed bags' or similar for just this purpose?

any one done this that could help me out?

Also, my cheapo underseat subwoofer just crapped out. Nothing else is NOT working though so I don't think I need to check any fuses. I did check the fuse at the battery for the sub and it's fine but no power light on the sub...guess I gotta get another. I did only pay like $78 for it or something 3 years ago.

Is there an internal fuse on the amp? Maybe check for power and ground at the amp just to be sure. Got a link to whatever model it is?

I cut my airbag cover when I installed mine. Turned out pretty well, if I may say so.

Well I tugged on the ground wire inside the eye connector and it moved a bit. I looked a little more and the connector was completely split. I replaced it and it all works as it should. Thanks for the basic tips!

I'm going to an office party today. Wonder if I'm going to get that performance review I was supposed to have two weeks ago.

At our job, they can’t give us “too good” of a review, because that would mean more paperwork, followed by a raise.
