What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

275/70/18 KO2’s . Up on the jacks it looks like I have a nice lift .

 

So how is the look of the snug? I've always had ARE and it seems they are a little small compared to the cab.

I'm going to make that upgrade next year so starting to look for info now

 

Got the doode dynamics ss3 sport SAE driving lights installed. I quickly wired them up with a relay to the high beams. I will eventually wire them to a switch in the cab and it some diodes in line so i can have the high beams or the switch trigger the lights and not have feed back. Got the lights from @memario1214.

I snapped off a tab close to the bottom - but its a small one about 3 inches on top of the very large very important one lol

 

Nothing wrong with that grille. I say keep it and change the surround and bulge.

 

Washed it for the first time since purchasing last month.


Installed the rails for my Rhino Vortex rack on the camper shell. They failed to send the keys for the 2 legs provided, and failed to send the second set of legs altogether. Rhino was nice enough to send another set of legs out.

 

nice - are you doing speakers and amps too?

 

how did you pop off the OEM steps, i'm assuming that's what you did and snapped on the new step on top of the bar? or did you replace the entire bar. I like my car, it's powder coated metal black but want to maybe remove the steps and rhinocoat them, I can feel they are plastic but didn't wan to pry too much just yet till I figured out how they are attached, they look good, just want more traction

Not yet, first round will be head unit. Then speakers amp sub sound deadening

 

These are complete replacements. 8 bolts per side to take off the oem steps.

That's good to hear! I figured they would do well since they're aluminum but it's good to hear first hand.

 

Are those color matched? Looks good. Miss the flares from my 1st Gen

 

How do you like your Rhino steps? Is there enough room to get your foot on without slipping (especially exiting the vehicle)? I've considered these but haven't made a final decision. I'm between the Rhinos or the Amp power steps.

 

I have had these on my truck for over a year in all conditions. I wear size 11ee work boots and have no complaints about traction and I have the basic powdercoated ones. If memory serves me correctly they are a little over 6" wide at the drivers door. Enclosed is a pic when I put them on...

 

Rhinoʻs are perfect, wide enough so you donʻt miss stepping out. The Fender Flares were painted to match, I purchased them from Sparks.
I should note that Fender Flares are not offered as OEM for the 2021. So we used 2018 Flares, but the autobody guys baked the Flares in their oven (after painting) to make them more pliable, then quickly mounted them. I understand that the 2018 were just a bit off but they did a beautiful job.

 

Took the Tundra to New Mexico.

 

Added color matched mirror caps, door handles and RB20 steps…trucked turned 2 years old on 12-19-21…

 

On the fence about picking these up. Opinions? 275/70R18

 

Who makes that light bar? Where did you purchase it? Looks cool!

Damn that's a hell of a rack on that buck. Looks like a 10 pointer too.

 

I just put one in my cart from an ebay link someone posted up the page.

 

Installed my Dirty Deeds BAMuffler a few weeks back. Put the resonator on today and dumped the exhaust after the rear hanger. Perfect sound. Pretty quiet and no drone. Comes alive with hard acceleration.
