Who in the hell charges Nitro in the tires. It does nothing to help climate whether or not you get Nitro in the tires. The air is 78% nitro so when you fill the tires, you are getting mostly nitro with a little oxygen. what a scam!:smack:

Went to Universal Toyota today , test drove 4x2 limited long bed . Nice truck but now all the tundras there have 4 k markup they told me plus $999 for nitro , tint, etc . Essentially 5k over msrp . They quickly came down to 2k markeup but I still told them I would see them in a few months .

Wow. That makes that truck over $74k out the door after about 8% sales tax and $750 vehicle registration (for one year btw) Tires and spacer probably cost them $1200 and they are charging $9k (Additional Revenue Stream is what they should call the $7800 difference)

Yes, out the door price was little but over 74k….as nice as that truck was, I couldn’t justify that mark up. Just gotta wait a year for all aftermarket options to start rolling out the line. This setup would cost most likely under 4K

I bought 2 Tundras from Escondido and 1 Tundra from Carlsbad prior to 2018 and after I see how they are doing business lately I will never buy from either again

I put deposit with Longo Toyota of El Monte. They sell at MSRP no markup.

where do you take your truck for service? Should I trust local Carlsbad or Escondido dealer? Maybe San Clemente?

Longo Toyota is one of the largest in the nation so they are legit when they tell you no markup and I think Carlsbad and Escondido are fine places to service your truck…

I had been trying to do this in another thread. Here's some we have you may be missing...

Toyota of Escondido (CA) adding $7500 ADM

Toyota of Carlsbad (CA) added leveling kit/rims/tires/alarm and charging $10k over sticker

Balise Toyota in Western Mass. is NOT charging a Market Adjustment. I picked up my reserved SR5 yesterday and couldn't be happier about the experience.
Great Dealership. No BS. Two Tundras showing on their site under incoming allocations.
    Ask for William. Great guy.

Cedar Park Toyota outside Austin is selling at MSRP

Germain Toyota in Columbus, OH. is selling at MSRP

New Country Toyota - Saratoga NY - MSRP

McGee Toyota - Claremont NH - MSRP

Hoffman Toyota West Simsbury CT, 06092. I was told by their online sales manager that they charge over MSRP. They did not specify how much over.

This is the dealer that was advertising around $175 off up until this morning. Definitely will double check with them on their prices now.

Yeah, not holding my breath. When they were advertising $175 off MSRP they confirmed that was accurate and no dealer ADM.

I have to imagine what they are showing now is to just get more people in the building or calling/emailing them. If they truly are 2-3k below MSRP then my 2018 Taco may be going up for sale. I was told by them that no 2022 Tundra is pre-sold. They only go up for sale once they have them on their lot. So these shouldn't be already sold trucks sort of thing. Again, hard to trust a salesperson these days. Should get an update in an hour or so.

It was a pricing mistake ha

All 2022 4x4 Tundras are $177 off msrp. No ADM. better than nothing.

    Beaverton Toyota
    97005

However, this dealer likes to add lifts, wheels, tint, etc every once in a while to new rigs. Only a few at a time though I doubt they will do them anytime soon for the new tundra.

4x2’s have a bigger discount than 4x4’s they said.

    4x2 Pricing: $1,001 over INVOICE

No issues with Carlsbad maintenance on my truck (only annual oil changes) but the amount of times they have jacked up something with my wife's car is unreal (calls and says everything looks good, then a note that it needs brakes on the paperwork). One time they told us rats ate the windshield wiper line. Unfortunately the issue was the screw that was driven into the tank, discovered by an independent shop when it didn't work when we left Toyota. Didn't have good experience with Escondido so I'll stay away from there on purchases; sucks because that's where you can get the Costco program.

Thank you for the info! Seems hard to find a solid Toyota dealer around North County. Maybe need to look outside for one, even tho it’s further away. 2022 will have complementary 2 year service and then I have to follow the manual, but I want to make sure I go to a reputable dealer.

Well good news and bad news , bad news is you can add San Marcos Toyota here in Texas to the no go list , 3 k adjustment in silly add ons like nitrogen in the tires over msrp .

Good news is Cedar Park Toyota for the win!!

Just put a deposit down , MSRP and I opted out for the $688 tint and wheel locks so just MSRP . They added 3k in factory options I couldn’t get out of but only the “paint protection “ from Toyota for $500 was the only thing that was really fluff.

Power-running boards and power bed step
    $1,350
    Bed-Extender $395
    Premium-Carpet Mat Set $245
    Paint protection premium package $559
    Console safe $395
Connectivity kit $59 ( two usb cables apparently made from unicorn horn which is why so expensive)

Painless process over the phone and email , they seem fairly straightforward. Truck will be here end of January.

Folks I've opened it back up to public edit for a bit if y'all want to add more dealers. I'll check on it later and make sure it doesn't get broken
