Ah, thanks. I'm kind of trying to keep my ear to the wind for anyone in CO who's competent with VFTuner. I think that most places seem to stick with HP as they deal with other manufacturers and are more in there comfort zone with them.

I mean, not sure what else to say that hasn’t been covered by the folks in this thread, but I can truly say it’s something that must be experienced to properly convey the pure bad-assery. I cannot believe this thing will flat ass break those 35x12.50’s loose and keep ‘em spinning through first gear @ 7500’ in elevation. I gotta settle down or I’m gonna tear shit up. Really has me wanting to firm up that 1-2 shift though. I know it could bark shifting into second with a proper VB. Thank you to all of you who have helped me through this journey!

those words are spoken by all new members in the boostage council (myself included). when you reach that stage - you have arrived.

Like a tribe of elephants welcoming a stray....

the 1-2 shift is there to protect itself. Tuning can relieve most of it.

FYI for Cali Peeps lol. MAF bypass and catch cans won’t pass visual inpection when you smog it. Gotta love Cali :) but, yah mine passed, just had to do some winking here and there

when they smog it, are they putting the probe in the tailpipe? (careful here)

they used to do that - years back - in TX, but I haven't seen them do that recently.

I thought they transfered everything over to obd2 based measurments. Last time i had to smog my commuter, no more being on the rollers, just plugged in a transponder and let it idle.

Ah that'd make sense. I'm surprised a smog moron would know to look there, though maybe that was the issue is smog moron doesn't understand that the coolant line doesn't affect the smog.

Me and Dinesh also talking about smooth out the 1-2 shift with IPT's vb as well, under full throttle or quick take off, it shifts beautifully, low speed and throttle can be bit jarring at times.

This may not be just for s/c thread, but I saw this another day and get curious, I currently have x-pipe on, and want to get dyno after the s/c kit to get a baseline and may be upgrade the pulley and also add this "switchfire x-pipe", they claim more hp than x-pipe and will make absolute zero drone, it caught my attention and thinking of doing it.

Reason # 201 (the first 200 are for each added horsepower) to supercharge your 5.7…. So you’re never forced to look at this atrocious rear end pulling away from you. Ooooff. In all fairness that’s the ugliest one I’ve seen, must be that trim and color combo tied in with the tasteless wheels.
