I wanted a faster vehicle so I also bought a Chevy SS... because 4 door sedans with big V8’s are hilarious.
    Look what you did…

I guess the first thing I have to do is find Tow Hooks and running boards for it. I asked my sales guy if he could have either or both installed prior to me taking ownership. He said he put a call out to Toyota but hasn't heard back. I am sure it will be a while before they have anything

I contacted my local dealer and they never responded. I hate the dealers around here, think they are better than you.

Running boards is my first priority....

Does anyone know if the 2021 and older running boards fit the 2022?? I just put a deposit down on a Lunar Rock Limited and first thing the wife asked is "does it have running boards so I can get in it?" I actually have a new set of predator side steps I took off my 21' TRD Pro Tundra just gathering dust so curious if I could use those. Search of this forum showed nothing, so if nobody knows I guess I'll find out in a month or so.

They sure look the same here:

I’m wondering if the front suspension parts are not the same as the current truck. This company in Texas already has one lifted (granted with a spacer)

Check the build link in my signature.
Spent an hour farting around with different configurations to realize none of them would give me all the features I might want. Then went out and apologized to my current one for even looking at other girls and went for a drive.

First get the Tundra. Here in Pennsylvania and ordered just shy of a month now.......

    Plans.

    1. With more information-trade out air filters to either K&N or TRD.
    2. Look at sway bars-is there a way to tighten up response? If not, order TRD Pro F/R Bars if compatible.
    3. TRD Front Skid Plate
    4. First - more information. Potential switching exhaust to Borla CAT Back. Running this on my TRD Pro T4R and really like the sound
    5. Bed Liner

Other than this, plan to keep all stock

Installed the TRD running-boards today. Super quick and easy with the design that allows you to hang it on the two screws. One thing to note is if you are going to use them yourself to get out, the area to step on is pretty small. This is ok for me since I don’t use them and prior boards rubbed the back of my leg. Kids can figure it out 056C9785-3A67-4C88-9C8B-E6780C2185F4.jpg1D760BDA-5FBA-4B73-BCB7-DAB9D2522B65.jpgB846D639-82D6-468C-B9AA-E5C1E4AA0261.jpg643E98E8-4A6A-492A-ACF7-4CCAC9B94035.jpg4C55FA90-29F4-4D47-B4EA-4431F277A12F.jpg A0B5F632-2507-4827-96B4-1D6C411D9C5A.jpg

We have been talking about running boards in the other section. What's the part number for these, how much did it cost and how did you get them? Running boards seem to be very difficult to get right now outside of getting them from Sparks which is very expensive.

I really like those TRD running boards. Are the brackets somewhat flush on the bottom or do they hang down limiting clearance?

800+ tax. Part PT-767-34220 (also posted in the accessories thread) delivered to dealer for pickup.

Basically flush with the bottom of board itself.

Really nice truck. I see the TRD limited models more than any others at this point. Curious, how high off the ground is the bed with tailgate open? Looks lower than last gen?

Thanks…this will be an adjustment from the Go Rhinos I was used to on my 2015 (and I was waffling between these and the predators) as I do use them due to lift on that truck, pending lift on my upcoming 2022 and got wife/little kids that need them also.
