I recently bought a 2004 Tundra and I was wondering how I could look up which key fob I need I bought one from Amazon but it didn’t work , I did the programming sequence and the truck went into programming mode
I bought the remote based on what I found in the manual

I also found this plug under the dash that’s just hanging

If you bought one from the dealer they would make sure it would be the correct one.

    that’s all I have

I dunno what the hell you have in your hand, but I'm wondering if your truck has one of the KARR systems in it.

I highly recommend before you post anything else, to use the forum search feature to search for: KARR

I found that the instructions were actually printed wrong. The following change (in red) made it work for me, might be worth a try:

That plug is for a Tekonsha electric brake controller if you're towing a trailer with electric brakes.
