I would eat the 200 and return sliders if that's me. I have Cali R sliders and they hold up good on my 2019 PRO

They only make them for double cab from what I can tell.

I need to elongate 3 holes, grind for clearance, and drill 3 holes in the frame to get them on the truck. What a load of shit.

Whole thing sounds like a bad op. I'd be for disputing charges.

Yeah I'm not doing this shit, I specifically bought a model that was supposed to be bolt on. We'll see what they say and I'll dispute charges if they tell me to kick rocks.

Eat the 200 or maybe pay some one to weld them on instead? Let’s how they work as sliders and won’t bend on you

Forum needs to be aware of such products and fitment issues from vendors. Thanks for sharing...

I would try emailing them if you haven't tried already. I reached out to them regarding their Raid series bumpers; they responded within 24 hours.

Since its going to cost 2 bills to return it, i would consider drilling the holes if it is otherwise perfect. Thats just my opinion though. They should pay for the return, its a pretty significant error on their part.

If they wouldn't cover return shipping I would be disputing the charges. If you have to drill to make it function as a slider, then "bolt on installation" is disingenuous at best and false advertising at worst. Because they can technically be "installed" with the holes they have I don't think false advertising would hold up, but it's certainly shady.

I'm not understanding what the big deal is. The title of the thread should be changed to: "Ironman sliders are an inexpensive option, but need modifications to bolt up to X years of Tundra."

    1) You get what you pay for. I paid hundreds more for my whiteknuckle sliders, and had no issues.
    2) buy a decent drill and bits. drill the holes out or whatever you have to do. See if Ironman will comp you a hundred bucks.
    3) get used to doing some of these things yourself if you continue modifying your truck. i.e. drilling, grinding, cutting, and shit.. if you go far enough, welding.

Though I agree that you generally have to pay more for good sliders, the major issue here is circled below. It's totally fine to offer weld on or drill required sliders, but it's shitty to not disclose it.

Those don’t look like they’ll hold up the weight of a Tundra.

I used to do machine/fab work at an aerospace company, I did this type of stuff for a living. I no longer do. I can do it, but I specifically buy bolt on stuff (when possible) so I won't have to do it anymore.

I guess it’s the calculation of time + effort + materials = positive outcome

cost to package and ship back with travel, etc?

cost of drill bit (or “drill” as a machinist) and time to drill holes fit up and assemble.

I’d think you’d be way ahead with the drill and fit up vs. sending them back.

yes, they clearly advertised the “no drill” incorrectly. Beyond that, how do they look and feel? I’ve seen some here in Oregon and I think they would hold up without issues. I will also add that my White Knuckle Off Road sliders required me to drill holes but they were BULLETPROOF.

Good luck either way. I am sorry you ran into these issues. I’ve had nothing but good luck with Ironman.

I already have drills bits, drill motors, etc,, but I don't have time to drill them out before my trip to big bend. Hope I don't take on any body damage thanks to this crap.

I'll see what the company says.

Look like a good inexpensive option, wonder why they wouldn't work on a 07-13.

Most slidders are bolt on are just steps at that point if you want to use as lifting point optional bolts and drilling required.

Edit: if you want to reinforce as a lifting point.

They won't do anything. Don't buy from Ironman, you'll regret it.
