The 4.7 won’t overheat due to it if your not driving it.

at least the ones I’ve had to do stuff without t stats in

I had no plans on driving it. Just letting the water pump push all the cleaner, and distilled water through it.

Unless I should actually use coolant as a flush if it would work better with the cleaner stuff I have. Below are three screenshots of the three different products I have on hand.

No need for precision. Just snip them with some cutters.

Ah. Yeah, that's true. If only idling no issues.

Ah, then that won't be a problem.

No idea on the coolant flush stuff. Any youboob comparison vids out there?

Liqui moly in my experience produced superior products in the flushing world.

With the lead time of shocks, and what not, I'd like to go ahead, and discuss good options for towing, and maybe a little wheeling.

I've got 5100s on my V6 and enjoy the ride quality, but rarely do I tow. Future plans show towing quite a bit.

    Open to any suggestions.

Love my 5100's for my purpose which doesn't include wheeling but does include towing. Stock front springs, 3rd clip on the front 5100's, ATS HD leafs out back with 5100's.
Oh, upgraded front sway bar and added rear as well.

my before measurements were way off due to the wear on the suspension. but im getting 1" rear and 2" front if you compared to a proper stock truck.

2 inch lift max was where I planned on stopping. Very similar to the V6. Any CVJ axle wear or boot problems with 2 inch increase?

Edit: I think it's already been lifted, but unsure of what. Either way, rides like a dump truck.

rebooting the axle is messy but simple. with your mileage your going to blow a boot. if they arent already. if you want the easy but pricey fix, get two new CVJ axles.

Think I will replace the spring as well so I'm not so high up on the perches. Sounds like two votes for 5100s which I like to hear!

Upgraded front sway bar was from a sequioa yes? They have a 27mm bar?

ATS price versus Alcan? Cheaper? I'm all about a full replacement at this point given the rust on them.

Rear sway was not a hellwig, but cheaper?

why bother with the sway bar if you want to play offroad. just leave the stock one. mines still stock. on road manners are fine. all my extra sway is from the tall sidewall narrow tires

All four boots are blown to hell. I will need help once I get to that point. All four counts are slinging grease, but are NOT dry yet which is really bad from what I've read?

Doesn't the RCLB have 5100s on front already too. Thought that's what we saw looking at it in the parking lot.

well if you want my setup (Which just barely rubs my mud flaps at full lock normal driving.. a bit at full stuff but not bad.) the tall skinny tires will ruin any added benefit from a beefier sway bar

I didn't plan on going to a 17" rim, but not against it if I do the T100 Booster, and the calipers that @FirstGenVol has.

Front was a Hellwig upgrade. I believe it was @assassin10000 that did a Sequoia front on his Tundra.

Not sure on price comparison ATS vs Alcan. Springs, u-bolts and shipping ran me $631.78 for my ATS HD spring set up.

Yes, I went with the cheaper Addco 2181 rear anti sway bar kit. Paid about $160

But @empty_lord is right about not upgrading sway bars if you're gonna wheel it. Or you can make a quick disconnect kit for the front links. Someone here did that but I cant remember who.

So, billlies all the way round. Now I need to figure out some sort of spring. Again, I prefer dobinsons because of the V6. Unsure of the weight difference between the V6, and the V8. Could I use the same spring, and get the same results? Probably not. The engine is heavier, plus planning for a deer killer bumper.

    Any thoughts welcome.
