Love the low key look of the other OEM running board.

Great that’s what I’m looking for, I’m trying to decide this one or the Toyo Open Country a/t III

Right now the big box store near me has $150 discount going on the Bridgestones so I’ll probably do that deal. Just wish they actually had them on hand so I could really see it first. Your picture helped a lot. Thanks

Oh and your fender flares, are they right out of the box or did you paint them matte black? I got a set of the Bushwacker 30917-02 OE style ones and just temporarily mounted, only like 2 screws, so I could stand back and look at it to decide, but with them black it made the truck look like it just had this Huge wheel well. So I think I’m going to color match them.

Thing is tho I have a Cement truck same color as yours and they look really nice on your truck. So not sure why mine just didn’t look as good so I thought maybe you had them dipped or painted.

Like the grille too! I’m picking that same one up Monday from the parts dept but I’m not sure if I’ll use it or insert my limited grille into the color matched surround. Guess I’ll have to temporarily install it and stand back and have a look then decide. Decisions……Decisions……Decisions……

Added this low profile bug shield from WeatherTech today. Not sure how I feel about it.

Got a couple things done this afternoon including drivers side grab handle (thank you @Bradleybb) and rago dash mount (thanks @Oats87). I pulled the front grille off to mount the front camera for the frac harness (thanks @okcowboy), but will need to pick up a right angle attachment for my drill because I can't get where I need to make the hole. I was hoping to tackle the frac harness at the same time as the rago, but ran out of light. I was able to get the rca fed through the nipple on the firewall which is probably the hardest part. I just need to mount the camera and then plug in the frac harness and run the wires for the switches. Hoping to finish tomorrow if I can find the time. Still have a few more items that have been sitting for a while to install as well. Stay tuned...

Yeah its a sickness, mine is actually silver sky metallic, and yes the flares are the factory black. the grill I brought on craigslist and spray painted the surround and hood bulge with base color and clear over the chrome. Very happy with how it turned out, and about a year later still perfect

I didn’t know. Thanks for the tip!!

My post was about gas prices and how I can’t fill up without hitting cc limits at the pump.

I'm glad you had issues with this too. Wasn't mentioned in the video and took me awhile to figure it out. Then when @Rerun came over and we did his, we had to break the chrome piece completely out to get it apart. Was not as simple as the video made it seem.

I finally put my Desert Eagle Cat Shield on today. I had a bitch of a time when I got it because I didn't know it wasn't completely compatible with my TRD Pro skid plate. Then I thought I could drill some holes in the DE plate to make it work but it was impossible to get everything threaded and bolted back up. So I gave up for a long time.

I ended up buying a cordless skill saw (any excuse to buy new tools) and cut slots in to slide the plate under the skid plate. I had the oscillating saw on hand for burs. Had to make the slots a little bigger because the spacers dropped down when I loosened the pro plate. I was able to wedge my hand in and tighten but my left hand may never be the same.

    Anyways, it's on.

How heavy are they? I've heard they are much heavier then other AT tires.

The Falkens are 4 lbs heavier per tire than Toyo OC ATII in 295/70R18, 68 lbs vs 64 lbs. I don’t know that it ultimately makes a difference, but maybe some people notice it.

I ran into the same issue with mine, which is a knock off of the DE design. Went through the same iterations as you, but almost got the single hole to work instead of the slots until I cross threaded one of the nuts for the TRD skid hardware. It was slightly easier to get to both top nuts above the crossmember if you go in from the passenger side. My left arm still hurts from trying to squeeze is on the driver side.

There was something kinda pointy on the drivers side that would poke my hand when I tried to get to the nut. Freakin hurt. It was like a pressure point thing. Damn. I'm gonna test drive in a little bit to make sure nothing falls off. Because that's my luck.

Replaced the chrome decorative screws with black plastic ones. Just did the first one. Only hand tightened them, don’t use loctite!

Trying a simple mod today but having trouble. I've remove the rear hatch to the center console to replace the existing power (round, cigarette lighter type) with an Amazon dual USB. Nothing special, just needing to get the round old one out and the new one in.

Problem is I can't get the round one out without having to bust something. Searched YouTube, nothing there shows how to get the round one out of plastic rectangle piece. I've already unscrewed it.
