So far, this is the configuration I like best.

So far, I have only seen one clear view of the passenger side of the dash. The TRD PRO has Hideous large blocky Toyota letters..... COMEON.... I hope that is just the TRD PRO, which has been crossed off my list. The techno faux camo print on the seats, grill, fender flares, tailgate are a bit ridiculous and immature IMNSHO.

I'm still waiting to see one in real life.

I think this is pretty common. Both, mine and my daughter's, 1st gen Xb's had that problem, and the Mrs RX 350 did it too.

TRD Pro is out of my price range. Can't wait to see more details.

I am thinking TRD Sport with the Max.

The Crew Max and 6.5 foot Bed is a nice option.

TFL showed a 1794 6.5 bed fully equipped still had 1270 lbs payload. I think that is pretty good for a half ton. My limited Crew Max is 100 lbs less with much less features.

I really like the new TRD Pro, although it's no Raptor competitor. I wonder if there will be a GR Pro that would be :burnrubber:

    A bunch
Highly doubt we'll get the full 32 on the fuel gauge, hopefully we get 29-30 before it's on the empty peg. Still be a nice reserve amount to get to a gas station but not feeling like I'm accumulating a lot of old gas in the tank.

well typically toyota turns on the low fuel light at either 5% or 10% depending on size of the fuel tank. larger tanks come on around 5% and smaller tanks at 10% reserves

This is a random render from like 6 months ago.....

The same thing you do when a mechanical component fails. Fix it.

What did you expect? For it to fly? In all honestly what would have to be done for it to not be a "toyota-fied f150"? What would have to be done to make it "authentic"? I really don't understand people that says it copies this or copies that.

Toyota's philosophy is not what you want, its literally one of there principles. New tech is pulled, not pushed. Only proven designs are used.

That article also shows one of the reasons Toyota doesn't sell a lot of full size trucks, but sells a ton of mid size trucks. They are chasing the same customer, the same people that they say are buying their trucks for recreational hauling etc, also buy the midsize trucks and in greater numbers. That seems to be a marketing and market miss to me. I mean he pretty much said they didn't design them to do work.
