    well those paragraphs are normal legalese to cover toyota's butt since when you connect techstream to the obd2 port its going to download everything in the black boxes and ecu and body control modules, etc.

    It’s a valance that drops down at speed. The 9 min Toyota USA vid shows it operating and retracting

    I'll take a look later. You can try and play around with the URL of the owners manual link. I just tried changing the numbers a few times but that didn't work.

    I suspect there is some core data they will still receive from the vehicle, probably vehicle telemetrics used for analysis.

    This was standard on my ‘21. I don’t think that what they are recording is as extensive on my truck, but I had to call and opt out. Buying the truck was implicit consent to that data being constantly recorded and sent to Toyota. I hope you can still opt out of all that with the 3rd gens…
