Anyone ever use this? Work on 06 with LT headers, dirty Deeds catless exhaust. Is upstream A/F sensors wideband and downstream narrow? Keep getting downstream 02 sensor reading a constant volt value. Magnum tech support is very interesting, saying I need simulators for upstream sensor just because I have headers, makes no sense when need those to adjust air fuel.

I think these are all narrow band. Not really sure how you could use upstream simulators as you would need to program your own fuel map manually (then what's the point of a feedback loop?) and as far as I know, there isn't anything out there to remap the ECU.

If you are just looking to disable the CEL, rear simulators will work and you can build one for <$5 using a 555 timer chip. A constant voltage from the rear O2 will trigger a code as it should spike at initial reading then provide an variable response.

Right, none of what tech support made sense about upstream simulators. Currently getting a P0136 codes. The constant volt has me stumped. It was there before new sensor on a defouler, there after a new sensor and now still there with one of these simulators just at a much lower voltage. Was getting a P0138 code before simulator. Any thoughts on why it would be flatlining? Need new upstream A/F sensor?

    Mine is an 01

Should also mention I drilled the holes slightly different sizes under the assumption both sensors should not read the same value, as both sides of the exhaust would be slightly different anyways

Hope this helps with any decisions

Bad o2 sensors could cause the voltage to remain constant. The ECU is actually expecting to see relatively large deviations.

ECUs don't care if they get the same signal. I used a single circuit and a diode to output that same signal to both sensor inputs on my Nissan. Protection against a duplicate signal would be more likely to cause a false code versus accepting that both signals could be the same.

Those codes are both for the secondary sensors. Personally, I built the circuit instead of messing with anti-fouls and spacers. I just used a voltage divider to drop it to 10% of the input voltage - to 1.2 o2sim.jpg .
