What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

LOL!!!! that looks my garage right now.

 

Since I plan on upgrading my tail lights in the hopefully near future (hurry up morimoto / meso), I decided to install these tail light covers ive had in my garage for about a year. I painted them with a cheap bedliner spraypaint last year and didnt like my sloppy job so ive been trying to slowly remove the old paint every here and there. Fast forward to now and I said F* it, im gonna repaint them and install them even if my paint job sucks. Well my paint job turned out worse this time around but oh well, they look alright from a distance.

 

If you think ima load gravel directly into my bed and let that shit seep out under the tailgate and scratch my truck for weeks before it all falls out you got me all wrong. Plus I don't currently own a wheel barrel so I improvised and was able to haul these through the garage to the back yard with the help of my slaves, kids... with the help of my kids.

A cheap tarp laid into the bed first will solve the first problem. No wheel barrow does complicate things.

Drove 1200 miles to Vancouver, WA, stayed with relatives for 2 weeks, then drove 1200 miles back home. I was very pleased with having a 5.7L V-8, 32 gallon gas tank (except when filling it up) and a nice big stable truck to make that trip. Drove straight from WA to SoCal in 17 hrs only stopping to get gas, eat, and take care of natures call, and arrived exactly when Waze said I would.

 

I don’t think he is quite yet.

 

RekGen. This one you can mount at any width and move it pretty much how ever you see fit. Kind of pricey

The last pic is funny....you have 8 tiedowns on your rails. I thought I was the only one....I stole the ones from my 2013 before I sold it now i have 8.
