Finally slapped on the zinc tailgate letters.

 

I tried ordering 1 from there and they don't tell you that it is not in stock until they send you an order confirmation (after you pay for it) I demanded a refund...

 

I called and ordered mine over the telephone, no issues here.

 

I found them on real truck. This one from Amazon says it don’t fit a 21 tundra? Not sure why.

 

In eco mode, is it slower/ more sluggish accelerating than completely stock without pedal commander?

 

Hell yeah!! I just saw them a few years ago at xgames. Been a fan first time I heard them. Might have been late 90’s because off my older brother, and I’m only 35 and really only listen to the 80’s stuff anyways but still put on an awesome show!

Oh yes, pressing the pedal down like you would easing the vehicle out of a parking spot does almost nothing. Pressing it like a normal acceleration from a red light will get you slowly running forward. Flooring it will achieve a slightly faster then normal acceleration.

You can also hear the difference when you press the pedal. Almost like your stuck in first gear when you accelerate as oppose to when you have it in sport you can feel the rpms spike up.

 

Put my agency 6 winch shackle on. And used it the next day lol. Def going to get some soft shackles.

All in all, they are bright as hell. I'm glad I did it. I love the outcome, but I would never do it again. Just me.

 

Installed the tailgate lock yesterday, and the fortin evo one remote start tonight. Also ordered up the TRD Pro kit from coachbuilder. Said I wasn’t gonna mess with this suspension…yeah, that lasted about less than 2 weeks. I can’t leave shit alone. In my defense, I’m gonna need new tires before winter

 

Mayyyyybe not a 3rd gen, but also did some suspension work on the kiddos truck.

 

What brand taillights did you go with and how do they fit? Any gaps?

Put in some VLED puddle and cargo lights and installed the Toyota OEM tailgate lock actuator, very easy install, no idea where the 'actual' directions are for it, so I just followed the youtube videos, only thing that I couldn't find a consensus on was the grommet going through the cab from the passenger kick panel, which direction to put the 'arrow'? I used 4 o'clock, since one of the videos mentioned it, and it makes sense to have the protruding portion of the grommet point towards the back of the truck and protected by the frame rail from the elements.

 

Lol...those are easy. You should tackle a hood bulge light bar if you didn't like installing puddle lights.

 

I wouldn't even try...its been too damn hot lately.

It's not that the process was hard, it's just the fucking passenger side fought me every step of the way. The work itself is easy, but it just wasn't having it. Driver's side was a breeze. I do eventually plan to do a hood bulge lightbar. My 30" stealth should be here this week too.

 

Added my favorite badge on the side. Feels more like home now.

 

275/70r18 cooper Discoverer rugged treks added last night. Tread depth is just over 18/32 so thats pretty sweet!

 

For being a brand new tire, I'm now on the fence between them and my favorite ST MAXXs! They look sharp!
