Would these apply even to the mx1.4? My UltraGauge is the stand alone hand held that works similarly to scanguage

The Coachbuilder bumper shims would solve the problem and look a hell of alot better.

Honestly I'm not sure. Someone with a little more progamming/tuning knowledge may know.

Some of that depends on the actual tires as far as sidewall/load classification. A C rated tire will generally feel softer on the road than an E rated tire. The extra sidewall on a 17” wheel versus a 20”, both tires being equal, the 34” on 17s will feel softer/bouncier, the 34” on 20s will give better cornering/street performance because of the narrower sidewall (less roll) but feel firmer/stiffer over bumps.

Those 17s will have a visual illusion to look larger than they are because of the concave/sucked in dish with that 0 offset and the black outer lip.

go to and you can compare tire sizes/offsets to see.

Nice looking wheels, and one of the few I’d personally consider if getting 17s… I have a bias towards 20s with 35s; 18’s would be my close second choice on a Tundra; would have to really be the right wheel/price point to have considered 17s.

Yes I used it. You are right, it is a secondary measure just incase the mounting plates come off, but the way they are engineered/works I doubt it will. Any flex on the rack on one side, the other side will not lift because the way the mounting plates are designed.

I grabbed a dash cam off Amazon. I used a mirror harness so the hookup wascrazy easy. Just a little peace of mind, really.

No pictures, just a new windshield. Took a rock chip on a road trip that started a 15” crack. Ugh. Glad I no longer have to look at it!

Coach builder 1/2” bumper shim plus SDHQ body mount chop plate, with RC6” lift w/Vertex coil overs. 20/10/-19, 35/12.5/20 no rub at full lock or reverse. If your gonna run anything over 33” and negative offset to clear steering/suspension components. Just do it right the first time. If you trim/heat/remove inside rubber fender. Will look hacked up and not look clean at all.

Amber in the dark is a eye opening thing. They penetrate the fog quite well without the glare or over powering refraction.

All Baja Designs, just ditch lights XL 80s. XL 80s plus S2s in grill. XL 80s S2s and S8 light bar. Squadron Pros in rear bumper. Then shot from rear with all front lights on and shot of front, and it looks like I'll be replacing fogs sooner than I thought20210827_011017.jpg 20210827_011043.jpg 20210827_011043.jpg 20210827_011043.jpg 20210827_011354.jpg 20210827_010953.jpg 20210827_011017.jpg 20210827_011043.jpg 20210827_011354.jpg 20210827_005303.jpg 20210827_010953.jpg 20210827_011017.jpg 20210827_011043.jpg 20210827_011354.jpg 20210827_005303.jpg 20210827_013327.jpg 20210827_010953.jpg

Agree with you. I prefer a 20" rim and have decided to pass on these because I'd rather wait and get what I want rather than sacrifice because it's a good deal.

I'll be going 20" rim with an overall goal of a 33" or 34" tire but am waiting until my OEM tires wear out and I need new tires.

I personally think bumper shims look hacky. I'd do a BMC long before I'd do bumper shims.

Got the left front tire repaired.

Also...changing a tire in 100 degree weather is not fun. Especially when some jack@$$ is sitting there watching you do it not 30' away w/o an offer for help. LOL
