I searched the forums for this, could not find anything related so thought I would show off my rookieness. A wise leader of mine told me once that everyone has to be a rookie sometime:)

Is it possible to convert the lighting in the instrument cluster to LED so that it is brighter at night. I ask because with all you folks' help(Thanks BTW) I finally finished the Center cluster, Map/Dome/Door & footwell converted to LED, still need to do the glovebox. Now that these are all converted it is so bright, when I use the brightness control to turn them down, it also makes the dash lights very hard to see because they are still the old dull original. So is what I want to do possible, or is there another solution?

This is super helpful! What bulbs are the P, R, D lights? Also, were you able to reuse the base connectors for the t5 lights. I tried on the climate controls with some Amazon lights that had the base already on them, but they didn't fit.

@des2mtn (I thought I copied your post, but it didn't work)

Oops, forgot that the 05-06 has a different cluster. But for your Sequoia the PRND2L should be T4.2 Neowedge. These worked for me https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B013HJGOAA?ie=UTF8

They're polarity sensitive so definitely make sure they all work before you put it back together.

I was able to use all the OEM connectors for the climate control lights (T5 & T10).

Don't want the check engine, low fuel, battery, or air bag light light to be led or they won't work properly. Is that why your low fuel light doesn't work?

I learned from @empty_lord that the the bulbs I didn't replace with LED act as a resistor for the the circuit. I did replace some of those with a new incandescent while I was in there.

Nah, it's just my fuel light that doesn't work. The others are fine. Thanks for the clarification @empty_lord

Does anybody know where the cruise lights is on an 01? I replaced the park and drive lights and now my cruise light doesn't work. Probably bumped it while I was in there. Crusie works fine, just not the light that says cruise

Most are down next to check engine. I have in past shined a flashlight at instument cluster where they might be and could see the words or indicator....in your case the word cruise !

Could you post pictures of the center cluster? I also have an 06 and would like to see this. Have you done anything with the instrument cluster?

The 05-06 have soldered on LEDs. You can replace them technically but it’s a bit of process. I sanded off the green on the cluster face and enjoy the white with green accents now. (Ignore my sometimes dead coolant gauge)

It seems to only be @empty_lord pictures though. I did run across one from @Lil Steve on @Tundra2 "Crackhead Resurrection" Thread. So I dunno.

If coolant temp is under 75 degrees when I start the truck it doesn’t work. If it’s above 75 it works fine. Something wrong with the servo on the cluster
