n00b here...I've searched (and searched) but can't find a LED replacement lamp for the lamp in position E, 9011-11012, in the diagram below. The lamp is behind the speedo and it appears that it's the only lamp of its kind in the dash. It's smaller than the 194 T10 and bigger than the 37 T5. It's a wedge lamp style that measures about 6.5mm in diameter which would make it a T6.5 but I can't seem to locate one.

What have folks here used in that position?

    Thanks for any recommendations.

BTW, thanks for the advice that has helped me replace all the other bulbs in my dash. The green LEDs look great.

Its a T5 bulb. Partsham offers them in packets of 10 on the Largest Monopoly Website ever in human history. :spending:

Get the packets with the bulb base sockets even though you should be able to reuse your old socket. My truck is a 2002 and I had the same problem not being able to find a bulb at local stores.

You can use the extra T5’s at the footwell, glovebox, ashtray, and with slight modification at the cig lighter lens.

    Thanks everyone.

I was going through the climate control and the gauge cluster light bulbs with a pack of T5 (37?) and T10 (194?) bulbs and came to E above and it didn't look like either of them. The Toyota parts fiche confirms that it's a different part number (even though it has the green cap) so I thought it might be different.

I've been comparing incandescents and LEDs as well. In my 80s cars I still prefer incandescents but in the Tundra the LEDs look much better: bright enough at the middle of the dimmer switch but also with better contrast (it seems).

I've got green T5 LEDs on order and will get those replaced as well (including E above).

Wait 'til you hear the rest of my n00b questions.

I recently replace my instrument cluster lamps with LEDs from superbrightled. Since my OEM lights were green (green condoms) I chose green LEDs as replacements. It resulted in a hideous, ghoulish, wholly unsatisfying look...totally unacceptable! I did it again (this is how I get good at things...doing them two or three times until I get it right) using white LEDs, and now I love it!
