No. Same dimensions. Just the wire attached to supply power but routes next to the hinge.

Well then maybe it's just the Galaxy S20 Ultra because I've tried 2 different ones from Sparksparts and both of them won't continuously charge. I've even replaced my phone with a brand new one.

Which N20 do you have because this does not work with my N20U?

Edit: The more and more I think about it, I'm wondering if that camera bump is causing most of the issue. Hence, why it affects both my S20U and N20U and not my previous S9+.

I didn't even think to check if it was a software/firmware issue. Thanks for the confirmation.

Well, @1UP, you may be right. After updating my N20U to the November update, I tried charging it again recently and it didn't once give me the charge cycle on a 20 minute drive. Things are looking up. Hoping to test some more but so far so good.

Can someone who has purchased the wireless charger provide the actual dimensions of the base? My phone will almost lay flat in the opening of my armrest, but not quite. The area in the front is slightly angled as is the charger. I am trying to tell from pictures that have been posted if the angle on the charger is less steep, and therefore possibly providing a little more room front to back. I don't want to spend the money and then deal with the hassle of a return if it doesn't fit. My local dealer says the part number is no good so I will have to order. My phone, a Galaxy Note 20 Ultra with case is 6 7/8 long. There is a backwards taper at the rear of the opening that my phone doesn't quite tuck into and the slope in the front that prevents the phone from laying flat. 2016 SR5 CM.

Sorry for rambling. I hope someone help me out.

Hate to necro this old thread...

But does anyone have one of these with a S21 Ultra with an OtterBox case (approx. 6.75")? It barely fits in the original tray.

I checked the local Toyota dealer to see if they had one on the lot with this already installed... but no such luck.

    Thanks

It fits! I have a different case but mine has large corners on it, I can only assume they are as big as the Otterbox case. I'll try to get a picture of my phone in it.

Has anyone had any luck with S21 Ultra being able to charge on the wireless tundra tray?

mines not working and I think its because the trays voltage isnt steady enough.

Make sure it's not your case. I have the same phone and it wouldn't change in my Otterbox

It doesnt work even without a case, says charger is incompatible and cycles from green to blue. I need to "clean" up the charger power somehow

seems a "Qi wireless charger" is required.... I take it our tundra wireless chargers arent "QI" certified

Taken from the product page for it:
    • Product ID:00016-34506
    • Description:
This is a wireless charging tray directly from Southeast Toyota that installs in the lid of the center console on the Tundra. Because this is a Toyota part, it falls under your Toyota warranty. It is a direct replacement for the center portion of the lid and reuses the existing vehicle trim badge. It has a simple plug-n-play installation that requires no cutting or drilling.

This armrest tray contains a three-coil, fast charging wireless charging devise to charge smartphones that support Qi-standard wireless technology. The wireless charger tray provides a convenient location for your smartphone to charge without the need to connect a charging cable. This wireless charger will deliver up to 10 Watts of fast charging to the coupled smartphone. The actual charge rate is dependent on the smartphone brand, model, software version, and the state of the battery to be charged.
      • 10W max output - Samsung Galaxy S7, Note8 and newer
      • 7.5W max output - Apple iPhone 8 and newer
      • 5W max output - Other Smartphones with QI-standard wireless charging

Agreed. Mine's one of them. At one point, they seemed to have fixed this issue for my S20U and went and screwed it up again. Same for my N20U as well. I haven't tried in a while with either but I do notice it cycles a lot less when the vehicle isn't moving. Both phones have cases. I've been looking at alternatives currently and I won't get rid of the wireless charger as I like the flat surface compared to the ridged one.

I haven't met anyone that had an iPhone with the issue though but that has been a while and according to some of the replies here, it seems to not just be a Samsung thing.

Its my understanding its a safety issue implemented by software from the manufacturer (apple or samsung doesnt matter) if the phone detects a wireless charging source that isnt "clean" or where the voltage is jumping around.
