So my Pb could be over extended because they are for 1.5" of lift and the rear is 5.5" higher right now.

Measure center wheel to fender, jack one side up on frame and see how much travel you got

So after back and forth with the rep about how the shocks are not the same at all he finally decided to give in and order the right ones. Icon is saying 5 months for them to come in and I said that's fine and never brought up bringing my truck in to take these off. I think he knew I was going to raise hell If he would have told me I have to buy temporary shocks so they could have these back. We spoke on Wednesday so I was thinking about following up this week and confirm the new ones were ordered. When I spoke with icon they said I'm probably at the very top of the limit of these shocks and they are most likely working as limit straps with how extended they are and if I keep them I'll likely blow that top bushing. This may become my goal with how much shit these guys have put me through.

That’s not a bad idea to at least simulate your intended bed load that you’re shooting for in a few months.

Yeah I actually told icon my rear was 5.5" higher right now and he said what the f did they do to your truck and I said they added the extra leaf at my request because I am going to add the decked system in sometime next year and he told me for better ride comfort I should add weight now or take the leaf out. Now sure which route I want to go, with the lift, dirty deeds exhaust, light bar from @Squatting Pigeon, this site has drained my resources in more ways then one.

The sand bags would be a cheap and easy fix. Removing the leaf is doable with normal tools but will probably take a couple hours.

I'll probably go the sand bag route. I was curious what my mpg would bump down to with the extra weight in the back so with sand bags I can test that out. If I drop to 10 I may consider keeping the tools in the packout boxes and using the 4runner for work mostly. I know I'll get a bump when I move to 37's and I really want to keep the mpg in double digits.

I'm on 35s and with 4 people and a bed of camping gear I still average 15 highway.

My average was 14.5 before the lift. Only put 1 tank through since the lift and it only dropped to 14. Hoping I can hit 12.5 with lift and weight but you guys got me thinking I can keep at 14.

Regear probably way down the line. Supercharger never gonna happen. I speed enough as it is. I've got roads dedicated to me because of how much money I've spent on speeding tickets.

Figured I'd drop this in here before making a new post. I know the 2 options for aftermarket sway bars are the TRD one and the hellwig one. I know I can make the TRD fit with longer end links for my huge lift in the back and I know hellwig comes with the longer end links already. My question is what is the difference between these 2 options? Both larger then stock but what makes hellwig twice the price? Looking to get new front and rear sway bars so just trying to do research. Thanks guys.

Adjustable in what way? Not meaning to sound rude, I literally have no idea, I know I'll need longer end links but I thought that was the only adjustment that needed to be made.

It looks like he hasn’t been online here in a while so I shot him a text. He lives a mile down the road from me, so we can probably coordinate a pick up if needed.

What makes you want to add in the rear sway bar and beef up the front? Most people that start building a rig as capable as yours take them out to get the most flex out of your suspension. Had one in the rear for a bit when I was driving 70 miles a day across windy mountain roads, but removed it once I added the RXT leaf springs. You will never be able to utilize that leaf pack or your front coilovers with sway bars on your truck.. just my 2 cents and want to make sure you thought about the impact before adding these to your truck.

I now drive with no sway bars and it takes some getting used to, but the amount of travel it enables is unreal.

EDIT: RXT full droop with no sway bars, cause I turtled
