Not much info out there on these. Especially if your looking to not level your truck. Had them on my Tacoma and loved them. Back then I bought the kit eibach sells that came with lift springs. While ideally that’s what is best, the problem is the lift in my opinion is way too much with there springs. I’m only looking for a slight lift on my trucks so anything over 1-1/2” is overkill for a truck used as a truck. My Tacoma was way too high in the front even on bottom setting so I removed the springs and went back to stock. Giving me 1.75 up front on 3rd clip up. Then even put a 1” block to get some rake back. This time with the tundra I opted out of there kit to save $100 and bought shocks front and rear individually. Second clip up said .6 lift so I went with that bc 3rd up boosts to 1.2 which would be my max I’m looking for. I tow a 6,000lb boat constantly and once a year 500+ mile trip. Truck used to nose dive on hard braking and lean hard into turns. Now she’s straightened right out. Although not as huge of a difference like on the Tacoma bc of size and weight, it is a significant improvement. Never tried bilstien 5100’s but I can honestly say eibachs are awesome and probably never will. My needs are better off road clearance, towing efficiency, and on road handling and these have fit the bill on my last two trucks nicely.

Idk, everywhere I search they have a few different kit, one use factory spring the other have to use their spring…it’s just too confusing to use them. If they come with adjustable shock I would give them a try.

Doesn't the Stage 2 come with adjustable front coilovers?

Not height adjustable, I mean rebound adjustable

Eibach kits that come with or without Springs are internally and externally identical. There springs will just give u more lift than 2” on the bottom setting compared to stock springs being more adjustable below 2”. Yes the 2.0 version is fully adjustable to whatever exact height you want but I’m not that crazy, and I don’t professionally Baja the thing just want something that grips the road instead of leans and dives.

I think the spring is for 4wd with a off-road bumper.

No, it works just fine with the factory bumper.

So you're running just the Eibach Pro shocks with OEM springs? I have no desire/need to lift my truck, and would prefer a more comfortable ride than what it sounds like the OME or 5100 shocks would offer...

    YoteDawg,

My "needs" seem similar to the ones you listed in your original post.

I have a 2016 Crew Max 4wd (stock suspension) and tow a 7000lb Travel Trailer around 10 times per year. I use an Equal-i-zer WDH, upgraded my tires to General Grabber ATX LT Load D and have Sumo Springs (med duty/black ones)

I have Roadmaster Active Suspension HD on the way, and believe this will resolve most of my issues with squat/bounce when towing. I've also read that RAS will raise the rear of my truck by 1-2in. Now I'm considering installing Eibach Pro shocks front/rear on stock springs like you did. I'm okay with rake on a truck that is used like a truck, but don't want to add additional rake.

I have already adjusted the WDH with minimal improvement. Also, squat/bounce happens with either nearly empty bed or with a couple hundred pounds of camping gear. I'm nearly certain that the RAS and Eibach Pro Shocks will suit my needs, but there are not many reviews/posts from people who tow (6-7k range) using Eibach Pro shocks. I've considered Bilstein 5100's as well...had them on my 08 Dbl Cab and my son's 06 Dbl Cab, but right now Tire Rack has Eibach on sale and makes price same as 5100's.

I would appreciate some feedback on your experiences towing and daily driving with the Eibach Pro shocks/stock springs. I'm leaning towards the 1.2in setting for mine, but believe there shouldn't be a huge difference from .6 to 1.2in with overall ride/handling experiences.

I’d definitely go for it. Towed my 7k boat 1,000 mile trip this summer and handling was great. Empty ride and handling has been impressive as well. When I’m due for tires I may go up to 1.2 setting, funny I’m getting grabber atx too

My boat will level the truck out when loaded tho. I’m not sure how bad the sag if any would be with the 1.2 setting

    @YoteDawg

Thanks for the responses! I ordered the Eibach Pro Shocks. Going to install the Roadmaster Active Suspension first, then depending on rear lift measurements, will determine where to set the front shocks. My Travel Trailer is at the dealer right now, so I may wait till I get it back home and dial everything at the same time. My goals are to have around 1.5-2in of rake unloaded and leveled or slight rake with TT loaded. Sumo Springs+RAS+WDH+Eibach Shocks, should help minimize squat (I hope). Won't have everything installed till close to end of year, when I have some time off work and hopefully my TT back from dealer.

I've really enjoyed the General Grabber ATX's. I have 275/60R20 (33x11) on stock 20's. Had them for around 25K miles. I've driven in everything but deep mud and rocks, and no complaints. Slight hum since they are a somewhat aggresive All-Terrain, but that doesn't bother me much.

How did it go combine RAS with the Eibach shocks? I was concerned that the Eibach rear shocks say they are suited for up to 1.5" of lift, and the RAS can give up to 2" of lift. Curious to hear what your experience has been!

No problems whatsoever with the Eibach shocks or with RAS. I've never felt that the shocks didn't have enough compression or rebound. I've since sold my travel trailer, so I really don't load the truck like I used to...but it's nice to know that I can load it down and not have much sag. I did fill the bed last weekend with fire/bbq wood (close to half a cord of mesquite) and had the rear drop about 1-1.5in. BTW, I did "lighten" the setting on RAS after I sold the TT, as I didn't need as much preload. I highly recommend this setup if you tow/haul on the heavy side from time to time.

Edit: I ended up setting the front shocks at 1.25in "lift" height. This combined with the RAS at near max setting gave me close to 1.75in rake. When I set the RAS to a lighter setting the rake is closer to 1.25-1.5in.
