After you folks get some off-road time let me know how they do. I bought mine for the towing but I am curious on the off-road capabilities.

On my rough roaded trip, the fronts were an immense improvement over OEM...I wasn't certain it was to be the case but they held the road surface without jumping around...the rear, however, though not at the time updated to the Falcons, jumped around and bounced to a near fright over mountain passes...I put on 100 miles of rough road where the max speed could only be up to 25mph through the passes...I too acquired these for the towing aspects and am thus far impressed with the offroad comfort and stability they gave the truck...I'm looking forward to more situations where this suspension will shine!

    Alignment done.
Drove about 45 miles and they feel fantastic. Soaks up the bumps. Firmly planted on ground. And no bed bounce - shackles are wonderful. Install by Fat Bob’s.

I was actually thinking if using Fat Bob's after seeing stuff they'd done for another member. What's your honest impression/recommendation on them?

    I went level.
    Before front 21 3/4 rear 23 3/4
    After front 24 1/8 rear 24 1/8
I expect the fronts to settle a little (perhaps 5/8”)

I talked about prices of course but I also asked about their procedures and operations. They answered correctly indicating triple checking bolts and torque. They marked bolts to determine any change in 500 miles. Also, I obtained a number of recommendations from others both Forum members and acquaintances. Overall I am impressed enough to go back and to suggest you use them as well.

There's no reason to think there would be TSS issues. This is just a level kit like what the Pro comes with stock. TSS doesn't usually panic until you start lifting a significant amount. Even then it's hit and miss.

Really not that big of impact on the front camera either. Two inches over about ten feet is not much different.

I was told that you shouldn't lift the rear as they are not designed for it, has that changed?

I was all set to buy some but was told by a few to not do it.. not happy right now.

    From Teraflex description.

    Rear Components:

    • Sport Piggyback Shocks (0” lift)
    • Microcellular Progressive Bump Stops
    • Bump stop cups
    • Roost guards
    • All necessary hardware

I guess it hasn't changed although I put a Coachbuilder +1 on mine.

TeraFlex says do not lift over one inch and the CB+1 shackles are 5/8”.

I remember it being suggested to be "okay as long as it's not over an inch" from Teraflex/Falcon....you'll be okay so as long as it's not overdone...like anything in life, really...

call and talk to TeraFlex. They are very willing to talk and help customers. I was told the CB+2 shackles would probably work fine as well. Having installed the shackles I am super impressed with the reduction of bed bounce. I am a strong Coachbuilder advocate now. Call David Eckstrom who designed them and builds them. He can explain the technical aspects of the interrelationship.

I was going to get in on this group buy but was told no rear lift and I'm doing 1" lift, either spring or shackle. Oh well
