Not yet, been out on family vacations and getting my butt kicked at work, just haven’t had any time. Will probably do it this weekend depending on how work goes.

Icon stage 8 is a hardcore setup for “occasional offroading”. You do not need that level of components if you’re not gonna really push it

    Toytec 2.0 Aluma 3/1.5 lift with JBA's UCA Falkens AT3 295/70/18
I like to differ that statement....only to say I wasn't a believer at first by only reading so many lifts, components, makes, coilovers, spacers, AAL, blocks, shocks, and so on.....you get it.
My final answer was toytec 2.0 aluma series complete lift kit...omg, never looked back, rides imho is better than stock, just the right lift to clear 295/75/18 with no issues and again rides so schweeet....even 1st time friends who jumps in for a beer run says what a plush ride and was so surprised...take it for what it's worth and read up members with toytec lifts...all positive. good luck with your build.

Yeah, for the rear I got piggyback shocks with the compression dampening control valves and a replacement leaf pack that’s a step up from OEM (all part of the stage 6 package). Didn’t take long before the leaf pack started squeaking, which is a known annoyance with Icon. Not so annoying that I’ve done anything about it yet, I really only notice it when driving around the neighborhood with the windows down.

I’ve noticed the squeaking too after I put in my new leaf packs. Like you said, not bad enough to really take action on it, but enough to notice it and kinda be bothered while driving around with the windows down.

I'm getting the RTX leaf pack and wondering if I should order coachbuilder shackles or if the oem ones will be fine.

Since the leafs are going to give me all the lift I need I could just order the +1 coachbuilder shackles and it wouldn't hurt to have them. Also wondering if any bushings should be upgraded to poly while it's all open. Did your icon kits come with poly?

I didn’t do the install, but I’m 99% certain my Icon kit didn’t come with any replacement bushings. Pretty sure you have to buy those separately.

Nope, just running the Icon expansion pack with stock shackles for now, with Coachbuilder poly bushings in the leafs.

I don’t know how the RXTs come but I’d imagine they already have poly bushings. The upper bushings in the truck frame are already poly.

Ok so then I'll leave the coachbuilder shackles for later since they aren't necessary. That's an easy install when I decide to do it.

Also saw this under the total chaos uniballs in the UCA thread. Might try and price these too

From the UCA thread under total chaos:
    • UCA's are designed with added caster to aid in retaining factory alignment specs when aftermarket lift kits are installed. This reduces the darting or wandering in the vehicle's steering when 2.5"-3" lift kits are installed.

I’ve noted many complaints about nearly all add a leafs and replacement spring packs. It really is all about manageable expectations. Things will creak and groan, just sorta the nature of things. I inevitability settled on OEM leafs and CB+2 to avoid these scenarios myself. I have seen a handful of members revert back to OEM leafs.

The icon kit says 3" front and 4" rear. I'm hoping to sit close to that

3 front, 4 rear (unloaded) would be a truck 3 inches taller from where you’re at now and an additional 1” of rake…for about a 3 inch rake….is this what you’re trying to accomplish?

You might want to add a rear brake line relocate kit, cheap insurance when it droops.

I ran Toytec on my truck for 2 years. It was just a Bilstein with 600lb linear coils. Smooth but not as smooth as stock by nature- the stock progressive coils flex easier than linear coils do. Wasn't bone jarring by any means but over quick things like speed bumps it was noticeably more stiff.
