Looking forward to hearing how these ride from everyone getting these installed. Curious if any of the buyers tow a travel trailer and their results with the adjustable rear settings.

Pretty noticeable difference from what you were running before?

Yes. I had the TRD Sport shocks. The Falcons take rough roads way better and still handle like the Sport shocks on good roads.

One slight issue with my rear OEM bushings has it from being a complete suspension, but these things are superior in all aspects of confidence when driving! For being only the front installed thus far, it soaks up washboard and potholes on par to my wife's Icon setup...I'm happy and after this weekend the rears will finally installed. 50% of awesome is still pretty alright I have the front set at level 2 (about 1" lift)...with the 'ol 275/70 tires, it is the stance I am after. More photos when rears get in...I couldn't be happier for this choice.

I went from 22.3125" up front to 23.25" on both sides...for being only about 1" of lift...it feels bigger up front...man, she drives really well now; I'm looking forward to throwing it around the hills this weekend!

This is where I read the 2016+ Toyota OFF-ROAD models have Eibach springs:
    https://eibach.com/us/n-95-trdpro.html

I got them installed and added 0.5” top shim on both sides and running them at the heavy accessory setting. I’m measuring 25” hub center to wheel well. No lean unless you want to count 1/4” with 3/4 full tank on the 38gal. TRD off-road springs 4x4. Came out to exactly the same height as my 6112’s with the shims.

Ride is more sporty than the 6112/5160 combo but takes the little bumps in the road better. I have driven 20 miles since install and will continue to evaluate. Thanks for that link had not come across that.

What is everyone doing with their take-offs? My Bilstiens only have 1000 miles, they must be worth something.....right?

Mine were limited a with 80k so I just stuck them in the attic for when the Falcons need to be rebuilt.
Had to cut a top nut off one of the rears so trashed them.

Finished my install this week. Level setting, CB +1, 17 inch Alpha Equip wheels and Wildpeaks. Getting my Evo Corse Darks powder coated as they are almost 20-lbs lighter. I love the setup and just need an alignment-thinking about doing that myself. BTW, I did the install myself but don’t recommend doing the spring swap unless you really know what you are doing and have good equipment.

I wrestled with the bushings for a good amount of time. I thought it would be easy as the truck is still like new: no winter driving, no salt, etc. Them things are stuck in there good. I used both a ball joint press (big c-clamp) and a two-claw gear puller. I drilled the OEM rubber bushing (about 10 holes) then used the press and puller to extract it. The metal bushing/collar came out with everything else. In that regard, I got lucky.

.....the bushing for shackles are the tough part. After that, the rest is easy. Watch the video by Coachbuilder....that makes all the difference.

285/70-17. Should have done 285/75-17. The wheel/tire combo is 93-lbs, per. Heavy! My Evo's with stock Michelins are 74-lbs, per. I think I'll swap to the Evo's when I have a road trip planned just to save a little mpgs.

What is the difference between the "medium" and "level" setting on the fronts? Any of you do level and now want more rake? I am trying to decide between medium and level.

It's about an inch of lift difference. I'm set at medium and I prefer the rake...I now only have about an inch of rake versus the OEM 2+". If you want a level front end and more rake l9ike OEM provides, most are seem to be putting CB shackles on...

I'm enjoying the medium setting and I can say right now, over the mountain passes I took this weekend, it was VERY obvious my front was more sophisticated then my OEM TOR rear setup...my rear jumped around so much to near fright! I am looking forward to throwing the rear Falcons on this week!

    Getting mine installed today!

Just measured the truck, and I have exactly 2” rake. Now trying to decide if I want to have them set to middle setting or level?

Truck does far more towing than it does off-road, and will be sticking to the 33”ish tire range.

From what others have posted, it looks like the rears give about a half inch of lift. So in theory, if I went with the level setting, I’d still have about a half inch of rake?

Shocks are installed, and I like them in the 20 or so miles I’ve put on them. Handles small stuff really well. As soft as stock platinum shocks, but more firm and sporty (if that makes sense).

Only issue so far is (which may just be the design), is that when hitting speed bumps at 30mph plus there is a slight clunk’ish noise. Not sure if that is the front bump stops hitting?

Besides the odd / new noise, the shocks handle the speed bumps much better than stock.

Went with the level setting, and got right at 2” of lift. Sits almost perfectly level now.

First number is inches from hub to fender flare, second is ground to fender flare.

    Before:
    DF- 22”, 36.25”
    PF- 22 36.33
    DR- 24 38.33
    PR- 24 38.33

    After:
    DF- 24 38.5
    PF- 24.25 38.5
    DR- 24 38.5
    PR- 24 38.5

Solid measurements! Time to test it on the road to Deshka Landing!

I have a similar sound...I'm chalking it up to coil bedding...it "should" disappear...if not, race truck parts make race truck sounds :bikewhoops:

Ha, that road isn’t nearly as fun since they paved it!

Have spent more years than I’d like to admit out there on the Deshka / Big Su. We have had a cabin about a mile and a half downstream from the Deshka for over 3 decades now. Can remember drifting every turn of that road in a cloud of dust at highly irresponsible speeds in my 1985 Blazer!

Lol, great point on the race truck parts.

That's right! I forgot they paved that road...I went to high school at Colony and man, when we go fishing at Deshka, it would rattle us smooth feeling! Ha! For what it's worth, I just put 800 miles on the front setup and the sound disappeared that you described...it "should" go away...It's nice driving a refined toolship now! She works and plays hard and feel good doing it!
