most of the trucks that are hit by the shortages have the tech packages, advanced safety, and fuel dynamics.

the 21 tundra need not worry about chip shortages

Someone else said that yesterday too. I have had no issue loading their webpage and browsing inventory. Toyota doesn’t own craigtoyota.com

The TRD Pro isn't aimed at those trucks. It's aimed at stuff like the Trail Boss, Rebel, and the Tremor package from ford; so I'd guess the Trail Boss black bumpers and accents would be a more likely source of inspiration. The hood badge stuff has been done by trucks other than the raptor, too. Look at the rams, and chevy lines from the last 5 years. Several have the hood badges.
As far as performance, Toyota has been abundantly clear from day one as a business that performance has not been, and never will be, their goal. Look at their company principles and culture. Name a Toyota that has ever been top end performance from the factory, especially any of their trucks.
Can't get mad at them over unrealistic expectations and hopes that they've never done anything to encourage.

My antivirus blocks craigtoyota.com because of a mismatch security certificate (probably expired). I can get to it on my phone though.

Well, if you own a current tundra, you're in luck! Aside from the photoshoped details you already have one! lol

Yeah i was about to say tires are too small. I dont like how they hood got longer. Overall it looks ugly imo. The current gen looks way better, glad i picked up a 21.

Probably wasn't down the site was just overwhelmed when everyone saw the picture and email address and went there to see if there was anything other information. That's what I did.

Taco Grande is basically the new Tundra. Looks good, hopefully the TTV6 can get 22-24 hwy w/o towing. Cooling- engine/transmission will be key to its success.

Wheels tires look good in this side pick. Enough tire for ones that like original equipment. And small enough to give the Tundra fanboys with a credit card to upgrade.

I'm digging the black and black is usually last on my list. If the specs are world beater then I'm in. Tough to tell in the pics but hopefully that pro is more than just shocks and a stamp. If those are 35s then maybe it has raptor like travel and without seeing a non pro maybe this is a wide body

Yah, I'm fine with the tire size honestly and I like to stay OEM on my daily drivers to keep the ride/suspension/angles how the factory designed it. On my fun vehicles I tend to up the tire size a bit.

I think in these pictures it's hard to tell where the tire/fender trim ends and the wheel well starts. I suspect on a non-leveled truck in person, they won't look too small.

Like a lot of vehicles, I think if we were standing next to it in person, we'd all be lined up to buy it. It's hard to get an accurate feel from a picture of a picture at awkward angles. The wife likes the TRD Pro photos and said maybe we'll just get a Pro. She's a good wife.

Definitely. There are so many vehicles where I'm kind of like "Meh" when I see them in my Car & Driver or online. Then I see it in person and I'm floored. Three-dimensions are always better.

I just can’t get over the fact that it looks like someone got a “realtrucks” magazine and decided to stick on every accessory possible. Raptor lights front and back, black fender flares, light bars everywhere, hood badges, etc.

Well anyone buying a 2021 model knowing there’s an entirely new truck on the way pretty much hate anything new by nature. Or they’re secretly pissed because they couldn’t wait and bought an outdated product, but of course can’t admit this so running down the new product is what they resort to.

Usually with the subjective parts of the new product like cosmetics being the line of attack. You see morons, are morons and they almost always resort to calling things ugly if they’re jealous of them, or feel defensive about their own inadequacy. These are the same window licking oxygen thieves that called people ugly in grade school and all through high school because they lacked the cognitive ability to come up with better insults. Now they’re adults, and none the brighter, and they still call things they’re jealous of or insecure about ugly etc.

The other who hate all things new, simply assume that anything new will not work. These are the cavemen who insisted agriculture wouldn’t work 11,000 years ago. If we’d followed their lead we would still be hunter gatherers who died of old age at 30 years old.

Sure, and others are allowed to poke fun at the reasons people dislike things. When they’re weak ass arguments like the ones about looks, I will ridicule them as stupid.

Did you really just compare liking the appearance of a car to life 11,000 years ago? How do you get your giant ass head through any doors?

So Toyota should just release the pictures now! It's already leaked and might as well get good high quality images out there for people to judge...

I’m going to reserve judgement until I see it in person, drive one, and can look at the specs (and price tag)

    The purse swinging is unnecessary.
