Getting ready to swap my steel wheels on my 21 sr5 over to a set of platinum wheels from a buddy. I finally found the correct part number for the new sensors I need and found some aftermarket sensors that are programmed already and am wondering if anyone has used similar and how much luck they've had? I can get the aftermarket ones for 129 per set vs 90 each for OEM. Huf intelesense is the brand I'm looking at online.

The 20/21's will need OEM sensors. Its a royal pain in the rear but the truck will register and program them. The procedure is in the manual.

Yeah I've read that. So the aftermarket ones are a complete no go or just not worth the effort trying to find ones that will register with the truck?

Even the OEM sensors are a pain. It took forever to register mine but I'm still having problems getting the pressures to display. I ordered mine from Sparks...they were about $65 each.

I did swap of 2020 Limited wheels to 2021 Nightahade wheels with TPMS already. Drove about 20 MPH around my neighbor hood with turns and brief stops for about 10 mins and they registered. I haven't had any issues as of yet.

Is the key low speed and what pressures did you have them set at? The issue I have is that they won't read on the display, but they show on my aftermarket radio.

I think it was the low speed. I put them on about 30 miles from my house and drove home 50-70mph straight, no turns. They did not register. I hit the reset/program button in my driveway and then drove 20-25 mph around turns in my Neighborhood. It registered on my cluster as I do not have aftermarket radio. I had 40lbs in the tires.
