Alright, check my logic here... It would make the computer calculate to the low MPG side of reality, right? Since I've clocked mine at about a 7% decrease in MPH from reality. I could be completely inverted on my logic as well!

Your decrease in MPGs as a % should = the increase in diameter as a %. So if your MPGs are now 15 and you increased diameter by 5% your actual MPGs would be 5% higher or 15.75

Currently lifted 2" with 315s that weigh 98lbs, average to work, which is a 20 mile trip is 13.4. Calculated for the tire size change comes out to 14.2. Stock I was getting 15, so just about 1 mpg loss. Made a trip down to central Oregon last week on the 35s and managed 16.8 which calculated out to 17.8mpg. Driving style has a lot to do with outcome. I use cruise often and typically set it 60 or 65 to match the speed limit. If I drive 70 or more there is a considerable change in fuel economy.

35x12.5, 3 inch lift. Average 16L/100kms which is around 14.5mpg.

just a reminder if you put on bigger tires and are using the on board calculator without using a speedometer corrector then your mpgs are going to be way off (on the low side)… I was showing 12mpg before the fix.

How did you correct your speedo? Was it a hardware or software fix?

I used a rough country speedometer calibrator. Program it to your new tires and it plugs inline to the instrument cluster.

that’s a software fix. You can unplug it and go back to oem. Lots of guys use it

I don't remember what I got last time I ran a tank on the interstate but I "think" it was 17+, I'll check it next week

I’m interested too. I recently picked up a 2013 Crewmax lifted 12” on 38’s. Getting around 11 according to the dash. But my speed is off 5 - 10 mph depending on how fast I’m driving.

    Too many, but not enough....
I coast to red lights to avoid completely stopping. Getting the pig moving from a dig is killer. I also keep my throttle position under 30% as much as possible. It's not easy and requires a style of driving change. If I don't pay attention and drive like it's my wife hybrid then my numbers are like you are seeing. Also when u take off to high speed don't lug it, get it to speed quick then take it easy.
