    Spare tire crank.
My 2003 has a multi part tool you thumbscrew together. Annoying! When I had a flat I absolutely could not lower the spare with that tool.

Is there a year that has a 1 part crank?

For curiosity - I just took the 1-part crank tool from the 2002 Tacoma & tried it on the 2003 Tundra. It worked. And the crank worked - tire actually came down. Woot.

Not easy enough to install down there. I did think of it. The rubber sheet metal edging shit should work fine.

Hmm before I forget, who’s got a recommendation for a storage box to put at the front of my bed, that’s still easy removable

I’m running two of these Plano boxes with a cargo bar holding them back. Two boxes fit wide with just enough room to open them up.

Its nothing fancy but they look good vs regular plastic totes. The rubber pad is so I don’t kill my knees crawling back there.

Storage is use for recovery gear and fluids mostly

I run a single Plano ghetto-strapped with the full sized spare in the back.

I meant the automotive stuff. Meant to help prevent doors chipping when opening the door lol. Parts stores carried it, haven't looked for it for a while.

Yeah I didn't want it to wash away in the rain and the paper that comes with the temp states you can put it in the back window or anywhere else on the rear of the vehicle. It was clearly visible and the guy was just being an ass.

mcmaster has what you need. I use them to find a part and then try to find it cheaper somewhere else. Sometimes you can and sometimes you can't

My knees need that stuff. Thanks for the idea!

Bought some UNtreated 2x4-8’ for.... $8 a stick the other day. Last year before Scary Hit it was avg. $2-2.50 a stick. Nuts!

Saved those temporary 2x’s from that last job last month and glad I did because I was able to reuse them on the back porch Column Replace at the Govnas Plantation.

2 Fiberglass Columns cost $700! plus another $150 in adhesives/fasteners. Getting out of Hand.

Yeah. Well, we did feed the termites for a few years. Bondo releases toxins into the air and besides its not a permanent repair. Normally, I’d use a Structural Epoxy (super high dolla/permanent) for smaller repairs before it gets to bad. In this case, the $$$ said it was better to buy new.

Honestly - I'm thinking the smart money is to sell my fixer as a fixer. Hop in the RV & hit the gubmint land w/ some internet. Work from home is a reality, work from RV on government land - same thing. Just trying to decide if hopping off the treadmill results in being left too far behind inflation.

Keep the house if it's affordable. Don't stay out of the market to long.

Renting with a good property management company watching out may be a good way to go.

Real Estate is almost always going to outpace inflation. Keep the property, even if you just rent it out to pay for itself.

Just be happy you could find it. The way things are going we might be seeing what less than first world nations experience. I'm hearing of places having a hard time competing with unemployment and stims for entry level to mid level skilled labor. If that's happening enough we'll have a lot of managers and your internet stays on, but getting produce and building supplies could be difficult. The prices... May change as well.

It's all super weird. Who would have thought that if you flood the market with cash that prices would go up. It's like the more free cash they give us the less it's worth. Weird.
