You are correct, I’m replacing my UCAs and doing the 3/1 with diff drop. I’ll take the height over the width for this truck.

I put 285/75r18 duratracs on my '19 pro and havent rubbed at all yet. I did remove the little front flap on the front side of the wheel well before hand though.

I’ve got 5100s on middle clip and just ordered Coachbuilder .50 shims to add on. Will I be able to run 285/75r18 on my stock TRD wheels?

I’m on 5100s on the middle with no shims and it fits on my stock TRD wheels

285/75r18 Falken Wildpeaks on stock wheels with about 2.5" lift. Rubbed slightly on the rear of the inner fender, but 5 minutes with a heat gun fixed that. Rubs slightly on the frame at full lock, sometimes. Overall very happy with them, and the truck rides better than it did with 275/70r18's.

My 305/70/18s dont rub...and those are nearly 1in wider...Im running a +25 so the difference from the +18 must be enough to cause rubbing...

TRD sway bar, airbag kit, Diamondback HD, LED headlights, Pedal Commander, Bilsteins 6112's up front with shims (2.5 inch lift), 5160s in the rear with CB +2 shackles (1.5 inch lift), Falken Wildpeak AT3W 285/75/18, TRD Pro Grill insert, MattGecko under hood and bed light kit,
Just got back from Discount Tire and getting 285/75/18 Falken Wildpeak AT3Ws on. 1.9 inch lift up front with (2 CB shims on driver and 1 on passenger)

Went to Toyota to pick up some parts right afterwards and while backing into a parking spot a heard rubbing. It sounded like metal vibrating so I need to check my standard skid plate for any rubbing. Have y'all just bend the skid plate with pliers?

Rest of the way home went easy on the turns and backed into a parking spot in my apartment complex (didn't hear the noise this time). I turned the wheel to full lock and jumped out to check. Couldn't see any rubbing on anything other than this one area. Picture below is driver side rear mudflap

Any other recommendations on how to check for rubbing?

pliers or a cut off wheel work. It’s thin metal, it cuts easily.

Thanks! I bought an angle grinder last night and cut a few inches off each wing of the skid plate. The only place I rub is the back corner of the mudflap now. Which I'll try to cut later today since I don't have a heat gun.

Has anyone changed their spare tire to a bigger size? I'm running CB shackles and I agree I don't think a 285/75/18 will fit.

I have a 285/75 on my spare. It’s tight but it does fit.

It'll fit, but you'll probably have to remove the little brackets the locate the front of the spare. That's with steel stock-style shackles, though. Not sure about with the CB shackles though, they're pretty thicc

Well got around to running it through a car wash last night, so here are some pictures. I cut a few inches off the skid plate, and been trimming the far corner of the mudflaps as I drive around and hear/feel any rubbing.
    Front raised 2.5 inches
Rear raised 1.5 inches with minimum air in airbags

Is that all the trimming you had to do?

So what tires did you go with? Did you need the shims? Did you have to to the top slot on the 5100? Trying to do the same but without raising the rear.
