Installed a new Pro grill with color matched surround and color match mirror caps. Both from Sparks. The color matching to blazing blue pearl was pretty darn good but it is a touch darker than my 4 year old truck, oh well. I'm the only one who would notice. The mirror caps were the harder install. Then a much needed wash. (Not pictured.)

It’s definitely more quiet in side. Truck feels more solid, no rattling.
Still have to finish floor and roof.

    Working on it.

Installed the bed step and the sway bar this weekend.

Sway bar went in like a breeze. Quick and easy. I did paint the brackets and bolts first so they matched the axles. I would not have been able to handle it seeing the zinc chromate under there.

Side step sucked to install. You have to be a contortionist with small hands. However, it definitely is not going anywhere. The step is mounted very solid.

First highway drive there was zero flapping/bouncing of the sides or top! I could see through the front and back plastic windows however it is a little distorted. I think once it gets hot out here the windows will smooth out and I can reposition and pull them tighter due having small creases from packaging.

The grill looks awesome. Are those Yakima bars on the roof? Were they a simple install?

Yes, I know the center caps are chrome. Black caps are backordered til mid May.

They line up good with the end of the bumper with the 285/75/18's. To flare or not to flare?

I can't wait to have my front blue too. Can barely see the variation in blue and I assume once there is a layer of dirt on it, they will look the same. You must be thrilled!!! :fistbump:

I subbed it out to one of the vetted install guys in our fb group. since I was all over that victory roof rack / air bag thread I felt like maybe someone with more experience should install this. He mentioned a cool tip. He puts a thin sheet of flat plastic w a magnet in between head liner and critical components. he uses a small flat magnet to catch shavings. You can pull the headliner down just a tad to fit that piece in without pulling all of it off.

HikeIt x9 received and installed. For now I just bundled things together via a Velcro’s strap and tucked wiring under the side of the center console. Have to work on a permanent location once I finalize where the controller will actually live.

Yes. More driving modes plus an anti-theft mode that does not allow acceleration from idle. Only thing of note is that it does not have Bluetooth so needs to remain where you can reach it for adjustments but the control unit is tiny. Probably 2” wide by 1” tall and 3/8” thick. There was a discussion in this thread about this one and a few others out there: https://www.tundras.com/threads/whos-using-a-throttle-controller-worth-it.87306/

I'm wanting to get these to replace the amber lens on my tow mirrors. Has anyone else done this and do they have white led's, or are they still amber led's, just in a clear/smoked housing?

Be careful the first time you use it. I had it in sport mode level 8 from a stop light and it was pretty touchy. Think tow/haul button but even more responsive! Not sure I am even brave enough to turn on HikeIt mode!

I figure I'd go somewhere on the weekend in an open parking lot before i started messing with modes. I test drove a '13 before i bought my '14 and was surprised at how touchy it was.
