Hey looking for some tips and answers, I have a Gen 1 tundra sr5, going to be taking the old rear bumper off and putting a new one on, what are the exact bolts I need that attach the bumper? I believe there is 6 of them, I have looked all over and can’t get anything concrete on it. I fear that some or all will not be in good shape. Most of what I have replaced on the truck has needed new bolts. And If you have any tips on replacing it that would be cool too. I have been spraying them every other day with RD and wd to hopefully get them out easier. Waiting on a nice day and waiting on those bolt specs to start it

I just used bolts from my local hardware store. I think they are M8 or M10? Been almost a year.

Pull up the bumper plastic in the rear and you'll see plenty of bolts for the bumper "shell." The bumper support bracket has 6 or so bolts that go on the frame I think?

Attach some pictures using the "upload file" button and it may help us help you.

I actually ordered all these last year. I'll see if I can find the receipt later today

I repurposed one of the old Valve Cover Bolts on the Rear Bumper in lieu. Earth Creditz building.

I believe the 2 more expensive bolts are the long ones that go through the bumper and into the tow assembly

Thanks man. That’s awesome. Is the one set of bolts not for the bumper bolts? The AO259? is coming up for a control arm.

The other 2 are coming up for the bumper. I’ve been looking everywhere for this info. So I need 2 of the one and 4 of the other ?

A0259 are the larger bolts that are for tow assembly.
There are 4 bolts under the plastic, I'm not totally sure I ordered those.
Then there are 4 on underside of bumper that attach it to frame or bumper support. I believe they are theA0048.
    For reference here's the 12311. I haven't installed.
The easiest way is to call. I used Olathe toyota and the guy figured out what I needed.

A Hand Buffing and some moisturizer will work wonders. Suggest loading up with ointment before bed and sleeping with nitrile gloves overnight. Your Hands will look 10x better when you awake!

    Hand buffing? DA or rotary?
I know the nitrile glove trick I do it in the winter. I just tend not to do it until they have split and started hurting the hell out of me.
